About Jim Ross in the New Jack clip, that was his first SMW show and was at the tail end of his short second run in WWF (he was brought back to fill in for Vince who was on trial for the steroid stuff). When he left WWF again, he stuck around in SMW up until around Wrestlemania 11 time then he left to move to Stamford as he was already back in WWF since December 94 and the move was to work full time.

I don't want to see AEW fail I just want Tony Klown to walk away from everything and get those who know what they are doing in place and produce a GOOD alternative, not a mud show nonsense that's on par with CZW and GCW in terms of nonsense.
I'm also from St Louis I watch an NXT live event from The Family Arena that disciplinary was talking about sell yeah I agree with him it was a very nice building and the shows were enjoyable.
I like Aewful but I have no idea on why he ever thought AEW wouldn't get a deal. Tony is too rich to just pack it up. He would have found a way to air the show....but considering WBD have always had some % of AEW ownership they were never not offering them something. Personally I think they are overvalued but there you go. I don't think this deal will be mindblowingly amazing.
I wonder the same thing. I think that a lot of companies just have fuck you money, so they have no problem throwing money at something. For example, a lot of Hollywood studios have big budget films and sometimes excessive ones just because they wanna throw around money or take a FilMaker like Martin Scorsese and they’re gonna give him whatever he wants. With AEW, they do have some advantages because WWE wants to be on streaming and not regular television, it makes AEW the number one wrestling show on television, because TNA, GCW, NWA and NJPW most people don’t talk about those companies and they wouldn’t be successful on regular North American television, considering they have a way smaller fan base. But honestly, TNA could eventually surpass AEW, and definitely through WWE deal is giving them a lot of exposure and they really need to make Joe Hendry their mega star and give him the TNA championship if they want to ever compete or surpass AEW sooner than later
- Y'all gotta stop going head-to-head with NXT. I have a great idea for a superchat, but NXT is gonna win out every time. - CZW also had some flippy super junior style matches and tournament. So, not all-hardcore garbage all the time. - Dixie Carter > Tony Khan... that's just facts. - Io vs. Bianca was great after the commercial break. Before the break, it was just a couple of pros doing all they could to stall and stalemate in order to get to the break. - Shane McMahon's corny a-- is most definitely NOT invited to the cookout! - Bully Ray and Mark Henry had a great take on the use or lack thereof in the Kamille in the Sasha Banks match. - So glad you can't play those songs! I will never listen to that! - Starting to think y'all are some masochists with the Mercedes Moné stuff. Marvin saying "Moné Mag is my new favorite thing..." is troubling. Seemingly 45 minutes on Moné, but a Jericho cameo is a bridge too far? - AEWful saved the thumbs up with an E-40 mention. - Great show as always.
