Hi Jennifer, yes I won’t leave mine so long before oiling again. I felt so bad realising I had neglected my machine. Thank you for watching. 🫶🏽💕

Thank you so much for such a detailed video. Others I’ve watched just say oil here and don’t go into detail. Yours is like a cleaning and oiling for dummies and that’s just what I need. Again, thank you!!!

Hi Evelyn, I got mine from Amazon, here is a link for the one I have www.amazon.co.uk/duratool-OL1000-pin-Point-applicator-Controlled/dp/B00XMRPND2/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?crid=3FU49JS4IXZPT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3OXQqFAJGMJ8oNaLQrSbCcfqgFQ7sFq7N-0Fi1pq1eFkQbO2vzkYiAh_azMDjjEJnTvQ6VvjG-Xm0IfOfU5kOarEpgoEbN7eurgBY1J6HMrTTX0C2zn8p90XadSESo4SFA0cWD-vUb7ai-vWUT8AEcEaiql_qyENeKT8v0Dt9DTE5ovNe5GcYv4hflX_zX74Bdx6GFPk5oC1tyQWFDi_KQ.CqMMlD55hjtBtmJhhnVqLIALZBmCE8vVo8NugytqJbQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=sewing+machine+oil+applicator&qid=1713288795&sprefix=sewing+machine+oil+applicator%2Caps%2C76&sr=8-14

Nice video; very informative. Do you have a video on setting you thread tension for this machine? My off a little bit sometimes…..showing the bobbin thread.

    • @elizartdesignstudio
      @elizartdesignstudio  Год назад +1

Hi there, unfortunately I don’t have a video on setting thread tension. I have never adjusted the tension on the machine, I’m just too scared and don’t know enough about it 🤣.
When ever I’ve had any issues with tension, it was due to me not using the correct stabiliser with which ever material I was using.
I hope you are able to find a solution, I know it can be very annoying when things don’t stitch out beautifully. Thank you for watching 🫶🏽

Do you know how to get the thread out when it's caught inside the hand turn wheel? I believe that is what is causing my needle to not be able to move and causing a stuck alarm.

Hi Carol. Apologies but I don’t know how to. Sorry to hear your machine isn’t running smoothly, I do hope you are able to get it resolved. If you do, please come back here and share to help others who may have the same issue. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾🫶🏽

A week ago I bought a 550e, and unfortunately I did not know how to deal with it. It is very difficult and in my area there is no one who understands this type of machine. Please help me. I want to download graphics from Google, drawings of bouquets of flowers, how do I download them? Is it necessary to have the Janome software? And it works without the program Janome? Unfortunately. Janome is very expensive. I did not get the program in the embroidery machine. Do they not include it with the 550e embroidery machine? Please help me with your answer to explanations, if possible. Thank you.

Hi there. I’m sorry that you are not yet enjoying your machine because it is a wonderful machine.
Mine came with the Janome software on a disc but I was unable to put that on my computer because my computer doesn’t have a disc drive.
I mainly digitise my designs myself using Embird digitising software but this program is pricey. I’m also still learning to digitise.
Sometimes I get my designs from Etsy or creative fabrica, I have a link to creative fabrica in the description of my video. You can only use digitised artwork in the machine that uses the Janome format (JEF).
You should get in contact with Janome and get them to send you the Janome software on a usb or disc, I believe it’s meant to come free with your machine. It might be nice to have it so you can look at your purchased designs first before putting it in your machine.
Have a look at my other videos under the EMBROIDERY playlist - it may help. I’m not an expert but I do share what I’ve learnt so far.
I hope this helps, don’t feel discouraged. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. 🫶🏽

Thank you! cant afford $150 every 6 month just for oiling!

Don’t misunderstand me, but this is a ridiculous process for oiling the 550e. I do not understand why Janome would make an embroidery machine that needs to be taken apart each time it needs to be oiled. It makes no sense. Every other brand of sewing and embroidery machines, or just embroidery machines, do not need to be oiled. Janome could have done the same with the 400, 500, and the 550. I was considering getting the 500 or 550, but not anymore! I have an expensive sewing and embroidery machine that is serviced once a year without needing to be oiled, and so far it has lasted me over 10 years. I believe Janome is cutting corners. I will be looking for a different brand.
I do appreciate you sending me here from your other video in the comment section. Thank you.
