Funny enough, once you do unlock the ability to apply paint jobs on your MS, the game tells you that you can use it to either camouflage your MS to make it tougher to spot, or to intentionally make it as colorful as possible to provide distractions or bait for enemy players to fall into your trap and have your team take them out.
Additional tip from your Ace Rexor Kisashi to NEW PLAYERS and Veterans/Returning players Whenever you start playing, check the Rated and Quick Match cost first, then back out and go to your HARO, once there you go and check your MS and pick whichever MS you want to sortie in with that match cost, always have A B and C MS types in case the team decide to go weird (example; All Generals no raid or support and vice versa) including A B and C MS, far too many times people have gotten penalties due to not deciding in time which MS to use, so avoid that at all cost! Plus saves you from getting angry PSN Messages from randoms lol, always be sure which MS to sortie in, and ready up!
If you got some particular favorite MS you want to use on different Costs and match modes, use the Tags to register the MS you want to use often! It'll save you a bit of time to find the ones you want to use without having to look at the entire list.
I'd like to add something about defusing the bomb. They are always going to wait somewhere that they can see when someone comes to defuse so if you can't get a teammate to come with you and you're by yourself, bait out the bomber by making a b line for the bomb but have your flashbangs ready. Land in front of the bomb but then immediately take off and boost directly out of the Medea carrier and 9 times out of 10 the bomber will have come out of hiding to bazooka you so toss your flashbang drop them to the ground and let them eat your bazooka round. I find this to be one of the more effective ways to catch a base bomber. The other being is if you have enough time approach the Medea carrier on foot no boost. When you boost you show up on radar but if you dont you can sneak up on a bomber. Or you can just got right for the defuse. I've actually walked past a bomber who was facing the opposite direction looking at the opening of the cargo bay of the carrier and just went to defuse and he never knew until the bomb was defused.
Not always, I've had many times where there was no one there and wasted my time trying to flush out someone who wasn't there. But the tips you gave really do work if there is someone waiting.
@@sabercentora1077 well ya but thats an exception and a rare case. Sometimes people plant bombs just as a distraction to see if they can get 1 or 2 people to pull away from the frontline and leave the enemy team at a temporary disadvantage. This is why sometimes teams will ignore a bomb and just push harder.
@@arifsalahudin6673 ya I dont alwyas leave my MS right in front of the Medea to be stolen. I usually defuse a bomb as a pilot only. If I have my MS and it has the right tools I kill them before I defuse.
I think it's a pretty nice overview of tips that can help out players, one tip I forgot about is that each suit does have its strengths and weaknesses. A lot of suits have a fairly clear way to play it (i.e Melee focus, mid-range play, and etc.), the only nuance that I can think of are weapon combos that you can use to stun or get the maximum amount of DPS or even stuff like GP02's massive shield and maximizing as much of it as possible. This is something that you have to practice with the suit enough to really get a feel for it and since this is a gacha, this leads into another tip of mine that I got from one of Maxor's videos: Work with what you have and do your best. Other than that, I think this video covers a good chunk of the basics in GBO2
My favorite matches are the ones that end win or loose by a Nat's ass. The ones with a low points spread are usually really intense. Btw it's OK to praise your rival, or a player of note from the other team. I try to do when I face an opponent that had skills.
Whenever I have an intense battle with someone on the enemy team I tend to praise them, I really enjoy intense 1v1's and I had fun battling them so I don't see why I wouldn't praise them.
If you’re looking for a boost button I recommend R3. It will leave your jump and crouch buttons configured the same, and you can still turn and gun while boosting. X(PS4) will become your scope.
All I ask is that of you see a Raid trying to stick his weapon up my exhaust port as an uninvited prostate examination is that you give him one of his own! Fastest way to get a Support to love you guaranteed! And before you ask, yes... I am a Support Main!
@@Squiggles01 That's odd, most people go with general and raids. I'm between a raid and general user but my main MS is the grunt GM Spartan BD. It's fun but I'll lend u a hand if you don't mess up with the team xD. Well, see ya on the battlefield!
I use primarily raids, then support, and occasionally generals. The worst part about this game is the players that are stuck in their thinking. Going right on the arctic base is a good example, and a good tactic. I've learned to change it up to avoid the trap, and at times it's better just wait for the other team. I wish they'd make more party chat for this. Communication is the key really. I've noticed a lot of players are starting to use their suit to communicate with body language, and others are catching on.
Unfortunately, you can't control what your team is going to do, especially randoms. And if you decide to go at it a different way, you better be a demigod, because the other team is gonna get free points from the get go. Best way around it is to either have friends coming along for the ride or being in an active clan willing to do a different strategy on that arena.
sometimes ill have a friend or two. try to keep on eye on my radar for my team and the enemy, and then make a decision based on what both squads are doing. this map is brutal if you get separated.

@@deussalt4479 There are no emotes, but you do definitely need to use the quick chat options to comunicate with your team as best you can and let them know what's going on. Rule of thumb, though: NEVER use the chat option "Arming Bomb'. It'll make the other team aware of your action faster and someone will come to take you out.
Hey man absolutely love your videos, I had a question regarding upgrading MS. So in the dp exchange you see lvl 2 lvl 3 lvl 4. When u buy them does it increase base stats?. I've always learned of the hanger but not too much. Your videos have inspired me to make videos for whenever pc launches lol
Yaaaaay! TT^TT Each level has different stats. It might a little bit more Resist, HP, etc. Some suits have higher level skills than its LV1 counter part. So no, buying a LV 4 version of GP02 does not do anything for your other LV1-3 versions. You do individual stat bumps through custom parts and hangar stuff. Hope this helped. Lemme know if ya got any other questions
The only tip I have is: Don't Dog pile. If you see an opponent and he's already got two of your team mates attacking him, don't join in. As one who has been on the receiving end of this, I can say that it's incredibly frustrating and demoralizing when 3 or 4 mobile suits attack you at once. It's literally the reason I stopped playing for over a year.
On the flip side, you don't have to literally jump in to pile on the damage. Just pick a spot from a distance and zap the falling enemy with your ranged weapon. Make it easier for your teammates to finish them off and move onto the next target.
Wdym it's better to finish it as fast possible, but yeah more ppl the less likely u won't be hitting each other if aren't careful. That why it's important to have support or midline to deal massive dmg or finishing em of. That way u won't have to worries on positioning and vulnerability.
As a Support main, all I ask is that you watch my back. If you do that then not only will you get free kills from anyone trying to jump me, but you will help the entire team while I do my job! Bonus points if you save my sorry ass with a well-timed counter!
yes, you can, but it also depends if youre alone or not, people might be staring down at you and if they see you tackle and youre in clear sight, its GG for you
In that situation he got stunned right as he needed to if he wanted to tackle dump that flier but yes. Tackling a Flying transformed suit drops them into a tripped state in every occasion I know of. Maybe there’s some exceptions to the rule that I’ve not witnessed yet.
