Personally, I'm a bit uncertain of this song. I like it when the refrain kicks in, but there are some parts which I like less. But I leave it up to you to decide
This really works for me. The usage of the metal genre injects a lot of energy into the original melody, very refreshing. Perhaps it's a good direction for metal in general too. Strong, detailed, intricate, melody with lots of variation and nuance, along with pleasant vocal harmonies, a mix of male and female voices. There's a lot here to enjoy.
bonjour j'aime les opéras, la musique classique, bref toutes sortes de musiques, et là je découvre les versions métal et celle ci est la première que j'ai entendue de ma vie. J'aime beaucoup. merci de l'avoir mise en ligne . Bisous
this is amazing. this is the best version of this song i have found yet. i love how you are able to ad in a new age of music, but till are able to keep it to some of its originality. 5 out of 5
I've listened to this song so many times. Unfortunately, whenever I listen to the original music of the ballet, I keep singing the lyrics to this song. Am I crazy?
No offense to Dark Moor, their version sounds great - but I think you'll find a guy named Tchaikovsky is, as they say, doing a lot of the heavy lifting here.
I have to say, it sounds really awesome but the title is just hilarious... Isn't the whole point of Swan Lake to not really be very loud and aggressive? Tis awesome though.
I partially agree. There is another metal version of this song that is not so fast paced and it is much nicer... The particular song they are covering doesn't work with faced paced metal Xx

+DeadPistolsBrainGerms Screamo: Maybe. But Djent (and also all similar genres) aren't as easy as you describe bro, trust me.
Screamo doesn't exist as a legit thing. It's just a derogatory term to describe bands with unclean vocals.
If you like this style of music, I invite you to watch the songs of Blackbriar :)
This is by Dark Moor, you could have credited the artist in your description :P
I would love to hear whole operas like this, translated into metal and English
Do you know at least the story of the Swan Lake?
Evil wizard curses girls to be swans, they cry and make a lake, handsome bloke comes over and saves the day. The end.
Sean Coppinger You check on the internet did you?
Swan Lake is a Ballet, not an opera.
That is correct, what's your point?
This song got me interested in Dark Moor. It's one of the most fucking awesome things I've ever heard.
They should’ve made a Spanish version on behalf of the fact they hail from Spain

Inlove symphonic metal, this is gorgeous!
it's Dark Moor - Swan Lake, first track from the album Autumnal (2009)
Dark Moor did a great fuckin job with this music. Use the Danse des Petit Cygnes in the verse was... simply perfect.

This is how it would sound today if Tchaikovsky was writing today!
This can be an alternate song to the One Winged Angel!

Losing you mind by Black label society
It's little more like a cross over of southern rock and metal but it still has some country influences in it
I don't know about that, I have heard some country/metal cross overs that sounded pretty good.
Beautiful
