Get a Real Techniques silicone scrubber. I use Johnsons and Johnson baby shampoo. Brilliant at getting rid of foundation, even oil based foundations. I pour a small amount in the Silicone scrubber, wet my brush bristles in warm water, then i swirl it around the scrubber. I rinse with warm water and squeeze excess water out with kitchen roll. Always dry brushes flat Sian. If you dry them upright, any excess water drips into the metal ferrul and weakens the glue that holds the bristles together. Hair did look nice, but like you said, just a normal colour can do the roots. That polytint isn't very expensive and you liked that. ❤❤❤

It was shocking Mate, I’m never normally that messy when I dye my hair. I always manage to get the dye off with micellar water if I do it straight after I’ve finished dying it, but for something to say “NO MESS”?? What a con!! The brushes cleaning method worked a treat 👍♥️♥️♥️ xxxx

You hair still looks nice Sian ,i also find some colours harsher than others.I`m trying to remember the brand ,but one left my hair like straw when i rinsed it (so much so that i needed to wash and condition after going through all the steps!). There is a new one out ,which comes in a tub? I`m sure it`s Garnier ,and they will be more expensive ,though i have seen them on offer too! I forgot to mention how dry the Loreal one left my hair as well, it was like straw!! I had to leave the conditioner in for ages. I’ll have to pin a comment about that, thanks for reminding me. Ohh ,and if you like the Garnier will definitely give that a try.I`m sure it`s a gimmick sticking it in the tub though!:)...Mum`s not too bad thanks ,i`m waiting for an apt for a suspect spot...not good for the anxiety ,though the dr thought it was ulcerated ,we`ll see.Oh and a nap ,think my age is catching up with me ,but i do have trouble trying to actually sit still for any period of time! @@Sianybosh my niece didn't used to do skin tests, until I showed her a picture of a person with here face all puffy that didn't do skin tests. I have had bad skin tests even from product I have used for years.
I must say doing your hair yourself is soo soo hard especially wen got long thick lots of hair. I use 1 of those hair dye bowls and brushes to apply wen I do mine .. and like yourself I also get it absolutely everywhere to 🙈🙈🫢🫢**Giggles** I usually put foundation on my face before doing my hair as then the dye comes of so much better . This was a lovely blog with you as always . Deffenetely does look nice and went on your hair really well looks lovely 🥰😊also my gran used to use loreal but wasn't always the best :( and everyone bad reviewed them ...I use the Live hair dye really goes well 😊 deffenetely for next time:) . Hi Lisa, yes I used to always use a bowl and brush to colour my hair, but I’ve just been a bit lazy of the last few years and got box dye. After how messy and expensive box dyes are now, I think I’m going to go back to buying the tint and peroxide from Amazon, like I used to do. I also used to use the Live colour, they are really good. it might cost a lil less here in usa like if go to walmart but alot of root touchups and dyes in general are a bit of money .
