My anxiety and agoraphobia has gotten to the point now where I haven't left the house to socialise in four years. I'm nineteen and I have one friend who I see once every few weeks because I get too scared to leave my home to meet up with her. I've never dated anyone before and I'm so tired of how I'm living but I'm too scared to do anything about it because change terrifies me. It's a vicious cycle and I know that I'm being irrational but breaking out of it is harder than I anticipated - I really hope that this meditation can help me to regain control of my life and make the connections with people that I'm craving. To be honest, just the thought of actively invoking change is making me anxious, even if it's positive, but nothing worth doing is easy. I really hope this works, thank you for sharing ♥️ and to those of you who might be going through the same thing as me right now, or fighting your own battle, you can do this. You can overcome anything you set your mind to and you will be a stronger person for it. Hardships aren't fun, but smooth seas never made a good sailor. I believe in you, let's do this together ♥️
I wish you every success, if you haven't already also check out Marissa Peers and Tony Robbins. The best advice is to change your thoughts. You say 'change terrifies me.' and so it will if you say this to yourself. Staying the same (unable to leave the house etc) would terrify me! Tony is excellent at using physicality to break patterns of unhelpful thinking. Good luck x

Hi Angharad, your comment really stuck out to me. I remember being 19 years old and my life after finishing school at 16 was at a complete halt. I isolated myself and went on the computer day and night for years. There were days where I felt positive (very rare) and so I'd do things like start a new blog for my 'fresh start' only to realize I was expecting a brand new positive outcome, living in the same conditions as I was the day before. I was setting myself up for a fail. And occasionally there was a day or 2 when a family member needed my help around the house, at first I felt reluctant but once I got stuck into cleaning, I found it wonderful to be productive with my time and see that I made a difference to that person's day. I'm wondering if this rut you're stuck in, is because you don't exactly know how to come out of it? But my advice is find something productive to do with your day, something that is rewarding. I understand you fear going outside, do you have the same amount of fear when it's a little darker? I get anxious when it's during the day and very bright... feel like I stick out like a sore thumb lol. But sometimes I try and push myself out of my comfort zone because I know too well, not changing anything will get the same results. But another option is to look at courses online? I had no idea but there's a website called open university and there are heaps of free courses. I'm updating my maths and English at the moment, which is basic but I NEEDED something stimulating my mind and thought why not. As for socializing, the best places I found was volunteering because the people that tend to be there are very non judgemental and chilled out.. and maybe you don't vibe with them and think they're not really friend material, it doesn't matter, the point is, you're practicing socializing in one the most comfortable environments. Just a few suggestions... I hope you sort it. If you are really struggling mental health wise, I really think making an appointment with your doctor is a good move for you. If medication isn't your thing, be sure to tell them that and ask if you could receive therapy (if that's what you think you need)
Good luck and keep trying. Remember to start slow and but be firmer with yourself than you have been in terms of getting out of you comfort zone. Anything is better than nothing.
Just to add - I didn't realize this until a long time after and now I have to seek out meditations about feeling like you're running out of time! Lol! Cos I'm 27 now... do you still wanna feel like how you do, in 2 years time? Feeling like you haven't contributed? Thr sooner you just give at least one of my suggestions a go, the better. I still have bad days don't get me wrong but I am doing much, much better now. And I know you can too. Well done for seeking out meditations BTW! Excellent way to ground yourself xxx

Everything you've said has really resonated with me, and all of your advice has definitely been heard. I unfortunately don't live in a particularly safe area so seeing if going out during the nighttime will make me feel more comfortable isn't on the cards at the moment, but I'll look into seeing what programmes I can volunteer in first thing tomorrow!
I've had a stressful day and this has actually really helped me to chill out a little bit. I'm so beyond happy that you were able to regain control of your life and pull through it all despite the bad days that still come along every now and again, you're the kind of person I aspire to be :) I hope you have a wonderful day/night ahead of you, and many many more to come. I do agree with the previous commenter have written - it's not as easy than some people make out to attract wealth and you may easily fail.
Be careful and get help from others who've made cash. I searched a few sites and discovered a lot of great help by searching google on websites like Wilfs Wealth Tactic. Good luck and hope you succeed!

I don't know if it's just a coincidence or if this really works. but I've been suffering with laziness for the past few weeks. and despite of getting back to my normal sleeping routine I just didn't have the energy to do anything throughout the day. last night I listened to this and today I just felt different and I got up off my lazy butt and even worked out for a good 30 mins. And so I am back...
I am going through the same thing right now, was doing really great then lost momentum. I am hoping that this does the same for me what it did for you. Here goes nothing, or more appropriately here goes the new me.
Tomorrow will be a beautiful day! I will have beautiful hair a nice outfit and beautiful made make up! I will study and focus on everything I need to learn and I will not forget my goals and dreams! Tomorrow is a successful day! Tomorrow is a day where I can focus perfectly!
This guided meditation is so exhilarating. I can almost feel the feeling of freedom, breaking free from the chains of my mind and just that puts the biggest smile on my face. and what's more?? everyday I've listened to this, I've found my self doing something I would never usually do. My paranoia and anxiety about some things have almost faded away within just a few days of listening to this. I was scared to open the door to people and always stayed home afraid ... But today I took a baby step .... a few more and I'd be able to take that huge leap towards complete freedom. No inhibitions..... Thank ¥ou so much. I feel this helping me. and I'm not going to stop till I see that change in myself. xx

No.
+Meditation Vacation Omigosh, I just saw what happened. I am so SO sorry! That is so scary & just wrong!! What he did was illegal, he could have been arrested & jailed for assault. Plus, you were in no way being exploitative. My goodness, you were bleeding with damaged recording equipment. I'm sorry :(
+juicysparkles I should have seen the signs, where he was stood outside the tunnel kicking and making noises was a show of dominance, I should have left it there and not gone into the tunnel or I should have been more dominant. I believe it was my fault. The only way I can describe this is as if I was walking into his "house", I have had it happen to me before with an ex landlord who used his key whenever he felt like it. Things got phsyical between me and my landlord in much the same manner. So, I do understand now. I don't want to involve the police but yes, he shouldn't have assaulted me and given me more space to delete what he asked me to. The only thing that broke was my tripod and I am still limping a little but it serves as a reminder to not do the same thing again. The thing is I know the law and know what you can and can't film but also have to use common sense..........the common street sense failed me on this occssion.

Thanks for this meditation though I'm sorry to say I had to turn it off after 14 mins as I found that repeatedly being told to relax wasn't relaxing and then being told repeatedly that I am confident didn't help me visualise what confidence looks like and I just couldn't get into it despite meditating for nearly 2 decades. Suppose different strokes for different folk and I'm glad it helps many other people.

I love your meditations and i love how relaxed and positive i get. But when i pull the plug and drive in to sleep i get the weirdest nightmares. This night i had three in a row, the ones you wake up with your heart in your mouth and a terrible,lasting feeling. Does anyone have any feedback on why this is happening? Its not my intent to badmouth the meditation, because i find it great, but im intrigued by this. Thanks
Ah! I had this when I started listening to guided meditation myself, I think it is the mind letting go of the way it currently thinks and sees things, if you persist it should dispell. An eye opener for me when I was going through depression. I hope this helps Susana
hum...it could be yes!! .. i suffer from anxiety and i havent been able to relax my body ( sometimes its rigid even to walk) and by the time you give the "comand" RELAX, RELAX....i felt my body resisting. Maybe that translated into dream state were my fears were released somehow....but oh boy...felt like falling in a deep hole!!! Dont care, still listening to your audios and i still think they are great and helpful. thank you for the reply and keep being awesome :) ✌
When I first started listening to meditations, I too was the same, stressed out, rigid and if I heard someone telling me to relax, I rigidified more (not sure if that's a word. lol ) The way I then approached it was, I thought to myself....ok, I have nothing to lose from just letting go and thinking....whatever, this is my time not yours (to the selfish negative energy and thoughts). Hope you know what I mean, I'm not cuckoo but it is the best I could describe it.

This is lovely but find the affirmations to be difficult to hear..
I kind of made it that way, in time to be relaxed enough for the mind to take it in
