Luka slowness is actually an advantage for him. 1. Players are not used to guarding a guy who is just big like that and dribbles so smoothly 2. It gives him time to see what everyone else is doing on the field with his fucking insane vision.
Luka has slowed his game down for some reason but become even more deadly as a result. I remember practicing ball and thinking I needed to be like Russell Westbrook, speed, vertical etc. Luka however changed my perspective on ball, he’s patient and because he’s patient he can think and make decision based on thought not instinct. Just watching him play, changed my own game
People don't realize here that Luka came into the league already with a veteran mindset when it comes to basketball. He doesn't overly rely on his athleticism(whatever level you may put that) but he will punish you if he has the advantage. His gameplay screams longevity, he's gonna be a problem for a LOOOOOONG time. I just hope he takes care of his body.

This is what is lacking in these newer superstars. People complain about how Lebron and all of these other players are too old to be reliable, yet I cannot see younger players with that same drive as the veterans.
