I was a IMS COBOL programmer for 10 yrs then moved to IMS DBA for 12 years. We used the IMS Data Dictionary to create and modify HIDAM and HDAM databases. Would be glad to answer any questions.

in your experience how you would get the structure from an IMS Database? can you please explain the steps and let me know if we should run an script?
