Good point. We considered using some milled 4x4 or 6x6 to make some enclosed ‘trays’ to form steps. That might still be a future project. Right now my goal is to get anything setup for lake access - knowing that replacement will likely happen in a few years. Thanks for watching !
Lol flabby white guy 71. Now you need a rope swing so we can see you both do flying rope swings into the 💦🌊. Woohoo! This is so awesome you two! LOVE the love deck!!! Lol Jason has broken so many sledge hammers and axes it's crazy! I totally said at the beginning I hope they show the steps with the drone! You guys rock! What a team. ❤✌️🇨🇦
@@lorettaandjasonoffgrid thanks for the encouragement! Rope swing - amazing idea ❤️❤️. I’ll have to take a look at the trees to see what we can do there. Im also trying to come up with a ’kayak deployment ramp’ … 😀
I'm only 7 minutes in, but I would make a canal on each side of the stairs, so your steps won't get washed away when it rains. My buddy did the same stair project.
A stairway from side to side would have been nicer and easier to walk for that slope Matt..........less of a grade to deal with and easier on the middle aged bod.........LOL
I like Mouse's idea of a slide. Weeeee! Splosh! 😁😅
Awesome job guys
Super job! Looking good, guys! And amazing to be able to easily reach the lake. Think of all those romantic lakeside sunsets you can now share ❤.
@@BugsBradley yeah. Next summer will be amazing
Awesome! You will soon be able to enjoy your hard labour to a beautiful property.👍

You could dig in PVC pipes spit in the half and dig them down for the drain canal.
@@Wings_of_foam that’s a good point. Thanks for the suggestion. We’re working getting a gravel delivery as well to increase the drainage.
@@mattandmouse I think adding gravel is a good choice.
Looking forward to follow your project.
Have a good day.

@@codraven57 lol. Yeah. It’s going to be less grade in the next stage but I agree. Version 2 when I have more trees out of the way 😀
