I’ve only recently discovered this channel but I love it. There is a reason why the church is full on beautiful summer days. So many Catholic Churches are empty these days, but this one is full. People are seeking truth. Just going through the motions isn’t enough. Even if the truth is hard our hearts desire it.

I have to say I never liked church, I don't believe in god, but Id much rather listened to this guy than to those social media influencers. At least this is comforting.

The narrow way has many that attempt to invite you to take time off and 'hey Mike, your into this God stuff too much, come over and let's hangout like we did...(this is well after they refused to listen to Truth, and I had to depart). The sad part is, I do pray for them and hope that my other prayers will somehow fall on them and receive the graces needed, but I cannot nor does Jesus force anyone to do his will. The greatest obstacle to salvation in today's world? It's very simple and straightforward. I went back to John the Baptist over and over again, had to be by Gods silent direction (I was knocking for years and I was in despair and desperation) . God hadn't responded yet...So I read about him, over and over,, dressed in camel hair and eating locusts and honey. Yet somehow he is highly believed and even the pharisees and saducees came to him for baptism, and as he saw them called them a 'brood of vipers' and asked 'Who told YOU about the coming wrath?' And advised them, if your gonna do this do it right...Repent and make straight the path for God.' Suddenly something became VERY clear. The word for in for God had escaped me before, I'm thinking, yes repentance, I've done that! But what I HADN'T done was seriously attempted at doing it for God, I was doing it selfishly and listening to the heresies "All I need to do is believe in Jesus' etc. This is the biggest lie the devil has ever perpetrated successfully. Believing in Jesus is the BEGINNING not the end. Billions of people know why He died and believe He was raised from the dead. For way too many, that's the litmus test for salvation. That is a heresy and yes it has ancient relatives. The real important question becomes this: Why did he live? If God just needed him to die, Herod could have gotten him as an infant. God led me down the road to find, He lived to start His Church so that all mankind could enter it and be Saved. John 6:54 gives us life and yes, only in The Catholic Church. The others either don't have Apostolic succession to validate a priesthood, or they don't believe it the same way HE taught and warned what would happen if persons didn't want to comply in Mark 16:16. This is God's Eternal covenant that Isaiah tried to convince the Jews to accept for a LONG time and they refused in the worst way possible. Embracing dead Idols. So after Israel refused to Jesus, (Remember, The Gospel was delivered to the Jews first). He went through with Gods will to take it away and give it to those who would accept it and founded His One True Church on the Rock of Peter. For the better part of 2000 years, the Church faithfully held strictly to the teachings of Jesus to the Apostles, Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus. God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. The Apostles were Martyred for His Church save John. All of the Fathers taught it and every single Doctor of the Church, Holy Saints, Martyrs, Missionaries took great risks to preach it to dangerous lands and were Martyred to save souls. If all we need to do is believe in Jesus and believe all these modern heresies and blasphemous theologies...God owes the Martyrs an apology and every Saint that suffered terribly to save souls. That was the SOP FOR CENTURIES. Today, everyone's wishy washy and that is unattractive because it waters down truth so as not to offend people. It offends God greatly. Fear God, I hope to be among the elect no matter how few, I live the Gospel. It was ONLY THEN he revealed this to me. Fear God as Jesus taught but even that's not enough. Listen to His Teachings in Scripture AND Tradition. He went to great lengths to give it to us and the devil is winning because people are like I was before God woke me up. Doing it selfishly. We MUST BE SELFLESS. Then he'll show you Sts. Peter and Paul were right and ALL His Dogmatic Truth. Fact is, NONE OF US decide what HE started. The teachings are in a straight path...by and FOR God. Birds eat seed ( bird devil) weeds choke out plant…is busy in life…some seed shallow soil…follow God but when temptation pressure they abandon belief….but some seed lands in good soil…grows..person prays loves God …dies goes to heaven. My guess 10% or less will be saved …10% heaven 90% hell. In 1977 an invisible demon came to my bedroom at 3:30am It felt like evil x 1000!!! So scary. I rebuke it and said…In Jesus name go away. The evil though invisible..sense it zoom to a west direction and exit!!! Yes Ephesians ch 6:10-20 is real. Saved equals …pray and ask Christ to be your Saviour and live daily in faith. Ephesians ch 2:8&9 John 3:16. God bless.

Hello Jack and may the Peace and Love of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. You cite many points that are mis-conceptions of Catholicism. The reality is that there is agreement on many of the points you challenge. For instance, we would absolutely agree that Grace is a free gift of God that is not earned. We would also agree that we are saved by Faith though Grace. We also agree that we should not boast of our works. Where we mayd disagree is that scripture teaches that we are not saved by faith alone. In fact, the only place in Holy Scripture where "Faith Alone" appears is in James 2:24 when the Disciple tells us "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone." One prominent place St. Paul cites work is in Philippians 2:12 "....work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;" ALso in the Gospel of Matthew, the evangelist tells us, "But the one who endures to the end will be saved." 24:13. So clearly we see that salvation is not immediate or certain. Virtually, in every page of Holy Scripture our Lord is telling us what we must do, not to "earn" salvation, or even Grace, but to show our love of God and our brother, in order to receive His mercy. One of the most difficult reads in Holy Scripture is the entire Chapter 25 of the Gospel of Matthew. Each verse provides an example of how He has commanded us to have love and compassion for our fellow man so that we may receive mercy. Yes, we must have faith, but we must also be faithful. I love what you preach l just can Not go along with the Roman Catholic Traditional teaching about praying to saints,mary or bowing down before statues, pictures or any type of Images, or to call anyone Father because we Spiritually Have One Father and He is In Heaven. The Original Church never went outside the Word whether written Or Spoken by the Apostles in those days Or even up unto the time of the Reformaton When Many Followers were burned and tortured for the Truth they believed. Many (Millions) Died after Constantine joined the Faith. Shalowm. AMEN. To days R C Church teaches many Traditions that were Taught by False Doctrine.
We appeal to God for the salvation of all souls and that everyone may enter through the narrow gate to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Philippians 2:12 KJV begins with "as ye have always obeyed" therefore work out your own salvation is encouraging each one of us in our obedience to Christ with fear and trembling (in great reverence of our calling).
And who will endure to the end and who overcomes the world? 1 John 5:4 KJV "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Quickly, let me tell you about myself.
1. I was saved from the foundations of the world.
2. I was predestinated to be saved.
3. I was saved by Grace and not of myself.
4. I am kept saved by grace and not of myself.
5. I am born again (how can I be unborn?)
6. I have a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26 KJV) (how can I lose that new heart?)
7. I have a new spirit (how can I lose that new spirit?). (Ezekiel 36:26 KJV)

Y dont u read Philippians 2 12 work out your salvation with fear n trembling.... Do not be deceived.... Wrong way of self interpretation is what is leading people far away from God n the Catholic Church
@@waryradhaiwary2239 Work out your own salvation means to employ yourself in things which accompany salvation such as obedience and the fruit of the Spirit. Chapter 2 KJV starts off this way. For example: THIS IS HOW YOU WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION!

BUT THIS IS HOW A PERSON IS SAVED:

It's your salvation given by GOD to a true believer "to work out."
Try opening a Bible and read Mark 10:17 -20 It says nothing about striving. The way is narrow .. Its called having that personal relationship with Jesus. He asks us to repent from our sins and accept Him as our Lord and Savior.. Jesus came into the world to save and not to punish..
