They knocked on my friends door at 3am, it was the wrong house. They didn't announce they were cops. He answered the door with a gun. They murdered him.

I just want to add a little background info on top of the five second bodycam clip the media likes to put, the deputy had announced he was with the sheriffs office two or three times and was waiting at least fifteen seconds before the clip that was shown occurred. You can find the 5 minute footage on "police activity"
Also, the family seems to be lying now in their new lawsuit, not justifying anything the deputy did but you can take a read

He couldn't see them, only hear them and anyone can say they are sherrif's dept. Police should have let themselves be seen but I don't know why they didn't.

They killed this Young man for no reason. This is very disturbing like the case in Louisville, Kentucky where the police went to the wrong apartment and killed a young paramedic who was in her bed sleep, and was not doing anything in 2019 . She never been arrested or anything, and they had a warrant for wrong house. FBI needs to investigate this case 💙💙🙏🏽

Officers aren’t required to have the gun pointed at them before deadly force is authorized. Look up Graham vs Conner. This what most police departments use for use of force training. I don’t know what the initial call was bit police aren’t called when everything is ok. When you have a man open a door holding a gun after the cop clearly yelled sheriffs multiple times that doesn’t help the situation. This is a tragic incident. 2 lives ruined in seconds.
