Happy October! I couldn't think of a better person to duel on this banner than the #1 L'arachel enthusiast!

RULES:
1)Each summoner will get 25 pulls on a banner. A coin toss will determine who goes first, and pulls will be done in a serpentine order.
2)Using the score value chart, pulls will add or subtract point values to each summoner's total.
3)Before the duel begins, each summoner will get to pick their own 5 star off-focus unit as a "boon" target. If a summoner pulls their own boon, it is worth 1000 points.
4)In addition, each summoner can pick a unit for the opponent from the 3-4 star pull, and set that as their "bane". If a summoner pulls a bane unit, it is -200 points.
5)Whoever has the highest score at the end of 50 total pulls is the winner. The loser must promote a 4 star unit to 5 star, which the winner will select and have their in game nickname changed.

Honestly, this video really highlighted something that I love about these summoner duels. Whenever you're pulling by yourself, you can get really frustrated when nothing's going your way and you're not pulling anything. But watching two people pull together, you can always cheer on the other person and get excited when they get something good, too. It always makes me feel better about my bad pulls to watch these. Never stop these videos!

He still has yet to come home for me and my pity rate is at 4.25% >~< The only thing stopping me from buying orbs and breaking my pity rate is my lack of funds and my lack of hope at this point

Africa I suppose that is the silver lining since I didn’t catch her on her debut banner. I think my plan of action now is to just save orbs until I build a big enough stash to go for it again. It is a good thing the banner is a month long. This does mean I won’t be able to go for Legendary Lucina like I wanted to, but she’ll be back again.

But seriously, congrats on getting Ilyana in the end, and congrats to Glitter for not only L'Arachel but some solid off-banners as well! Great synergy between you two as usual. These duels always brighten my mood, whether it's with Glitter, Shango, or even that one doubles match from a while back. And for what it's worth, I liked that Erk video, I just wonder if he was the best character to start with - maybe someone like Jill would get a stronger response, especially with the next Farfetched banner so close.

As always a wholesome duel with one of the most unlucky summons I ever see from one of you, at least the punish unit isn't that bad anymore.
With the free summons I get a Mareeta with is decent, but I'm actually gonna pull around 25 orbs in the other Halloween banner for H.Jakob, with some luck maybe I get a +HP Virion, more Klein merges or a super lucky H.Jakob.
Edit:I just realized there's no H.Jakob in the other banner, so I'm just gonna pull in this one.
I just need to get a +HP Virion and he'll be set :D

I'm sorry you got super unlucky, Glitter kinda wrecked you, but she does have L'Arachel as her mascot after all... but i'm so glad you did get Ilyana :)
Glitter is the most apologetic, nicest opponent you could ever have, its fun to watch. I wanted L'arachel so bad but i got a Hilda instead, which is lovely because she's one of my favourite 3 houses characters. Youre eventual HHM playthrough together sounds great, im really looking forward to it :)

Anyways Halloween is also my favorite holiday and thus I LOVE Halloween seasonals. Unfortunately no one on the banner interested me that much so I'll be skipping... Going to see if I can reach 2000 orbs before I next summon (likely far-fetched for Conrad or when Sylvain/Ashe are released). When I saw L'arachel though I was SUPER looking forward to seeing Glitter pull and the fact it's a duel makes it even better!

Hello! As always, good luck. On this banner I ended up using about 220 of my Bernie orbs (Sorry Bernie) on Hector and L'arachel. I wound up with 2 L'arachels, a Hector, and Owain.

Still one of my favorite summoner duels to watch (mainly cause Glitter is cute af and she finally wins XD). I actually did one with the CYL4 banner, and despite my massive lead, I still could've lost on the last summon due to the other person's boon pick (I still won because they didn't get it XD but yeah, it was final wire).
I was beginning to wonder where your summoning videos were at. This was a great duel, if just a little bit one-sided lol.
I hope it was fun to watch! The stomp probably made it a little boring :D
I used to not like dwarves as much either, but I love medieval fantasy settings as a whole so I ended up warming up to them lol.

Ah, the days of sucking up in Language Festival. I went overboard in pulling for Halloween Hector, but just like Glitter, I really wanted Halloween L'Arachel. Looks a lot like Sonia from Pokémon after she wore a lab coat like I imagined her to be before Sword and Shield was released.

To make you feel better Speedy, be thankful I wasn't there cause I gotten 3 free Halloween units with a random lewyn so at least Glitter didn't hurt ya too bad with her pulls and I think with those 4 units I would of made 1450, however if the agreement of +atk -hp on Hector, and +res -Speed on Dorzla, that would make an extra 200 right? cause its 500 for those focus units if stats are good. Also, nice pulls at the bonus round. :) This video was really enjoyable, I miss summoning along with my friends, but I like to stay up late to summon cause I always think you can get the best pulls when it comes fresh out of the oven. *it sometimes work lol

Yikes, seems we both got kind of screwed with luck, i was aiming for Shigure for the Performing Arts banner, only him, non stop orbs, i was interested in Thrasir but i was going for him (I know he sucks but i like Shigure), he got me to 4.75% (my highest pity rate yet), then the game decided it was fed up with me and gave me 5 colorless, i knew it was over in that moment, i was so pissed off i just ignored his banner, though getting a Neutral Halloween L'arachel in the last summon ticket does redeem it a little bit, i literally could make 2 +10 abels i got so many bloody Abels, i am slightly convinced blue is cursed for me, i got pitybroken the most on blue, got Ophelia in the same exact circle twice (3-4 blues with a bit of a pity rate), got pity broken by Shiro and Ophelia 3 times and i've gotten so many of the same unit i wonder if i'm just reliving the same moment over and over again, i'm going colorless now for Mia, i actually am not really summoning a whole lot on Halloween, it has my least favorite lineup of seasonals along with christmas (all the armored units, also generally characters that don't interest me).
I got my Libra to +10, he's a pretty decent tank in AR, i just need a Naga or two and he'll really be a threat, got pitybroken by a Nailah so i gave him Distant Counter and Null C Disrupt, he has hardy bearing and Hack'o'lantern too, so no Ophelia Shenanigans can happen or anything like that, not that she'd really hurt him, he's doing pretty well on his own, i just need one more merge on Laegjarn and she'll be complete, at +9 atm, i do hope to see her used one day in Grand Conquest or something, i don't know how useful she'll be, my merge projects in future are gonna be Virion (if i get him that is), Mercedes (same story), Brady (same story), Tailtiu (just need the feathers) and Raigh, grail projects are Berkut (Have like 5 Berkuts as books so i don't need to use many grails), NY Corn and Groom Marth, my choices are a bit strange i admit but i like them, also gonna give my Brave Lucina and my Lute that i kept in hopes of using her one day their refine, Hawkeye is also high priority now too, am loving these new refines.
It's been a bit of a while Speedy, at this point i kind of doubt you remember me but at the same time i commented quite a bit on your videos and well...the betrayal of my Gunnthra will be hard to forget i think, i enjoyed this video but also kind of felt pain at the same time, i just felt so bad for you, and well, hearing you guys rat on Shiro hurt, i felt that recoil from Shiro (and i'm someone who's F2P, likes him and wants to use him), and all those pity breakers just shot me in the heart, i could pretty much feel your pain from all these pity breakers and hearing your hope dissipate, the only ones who pity broke me more are Lene (but only on redeem summons funny enough, and she's someone i kind of want to have merges so i'm fine with that), and LA Hector (who i'm not fine with, though i am lightening up to him, if i get more of him, so be it, i may do more merges). I got Summer Takumi from the Summer Banner so i'm happy (And Laegjarn of course), i was a little surprised to see Hubert as a boon unit but i'm glad he's getting appreciation, he's actually become my second favorite red mage (Summer Tana is still first), invested quite a bit in him, gave him Fury and Darting stance, his stats are quite nice (a +res one has actually been quite beneficial).
I am absolutely in love with Hall of Forms, it is my current favorite game mode, it encourages creative builds and actual fun, you are actually involved unlike Lost Shit (i mean Lost Lore, that game mode is garbage), i get to play around with skills, am doing a barrack cleanup too, but i hope you're doing well, again you probably have forgotten me by now but i'm not sure

The new refines are pretty sick! I'm a little sad about Fredericks, but it's still pretty dang useful!

Also, Hall of Forms is a blast! I hope they end up making more challenging maps for actually properly investing in your teams (Even if it's slightly luck based)
I found myself having nothing to do for the last 5 days and the maps all became too easy!
Anyway, take care Zoro and hope you're doing good as well! It's pretty hard for me to forget about anyone who shows up to streams or comments, so you have nothing to worry about :)
@@SpeedyHawk I kind of ended up giving up, pity rate got too high and it sort of felt like a waste of time (i'll get her next year, i also got pity broken by Velouria, who i actually kind of wanted so i don't mind especially since my first one had slightly crap IV's), Silque is here so Mia i can just get another time, Fredrick can potentially do Double Sturdy Blow with his Death Blow refine, he could be a great physical player phase unit, sturdy impact is good too but i don't have that, Gunnthra will forever haunt you.
Lene is the red that haunts me, Shiro and Ophelia's are the blues that haunt me and F Kana is the green that haunts me (just recently got pitybroken by her trying to get Hilda), Hall of Forms really is great, and yeah, i think it needs a couple changes, i also kind of wish we weren't restricted by stamina but i know that'll make things too easy, it's just the first mode i actually find really fun in feh, so i wish i could play it more, it kind of sucks waiting every day to play it 3 times again.
My plans are to get Hilda first (wasn't interested in her when she first showed up cause that was when i was playing the game blind, she's the only one i'm missing other than Mercedes who i really want, trying to get Hilda now), then i'm planning to go for Silque, if i get her in good time, i'll go after Ilanya, but not to use, i actually want to give my Easter Catria her tome, I also potentially want to get another Halloween L'arachel to give my hoarding Easter Camilla another green tome, the 3 she has right now aren't really doing her well so i'm hoping it'll help her a bit, then potentially go after Henry and Nowi, i got two Halloween Sakura's so i'm fine with the one i have, but this is if the game treats me kindly, it has been a bit of a flip flop for me, cause i got Halloween L'arachel in a ticket summon (Neutral IV's, only one i wanted to keep, i love her), but at the same time i got two pity breakers, 2 i already have (I got a random Nagi, would've possibly kept her if her IV's were good but, my F Kana has Distant Counter now)

This banner is a tough one for me, I pretty much want everyone. L’ Arachel’s art is amazing, Dozla is my favourite FE8 character (though I still want Santa Dozla!) I gotta get Ilyanna for when my boy Zihark finally gets added so I can complete the ship, and Hector/Lilian is just too darn cute. Think I’ll settle for sniping blue and colourless, and hope the other two are on a good legendary banner later. We’ve got two new heroes banners coming up and I just spent a bunch of orbs trying to get sanaki merges so I’m gonna hold out till we see what’s coming.
The HM feathers also give me anxiety XD

SpeedyHawk for once I actually did! Halloween alluded me besides a Dozla at 4.50%, but then I got Silque & Catria from the tickets on the Zofia banner, and also got Mareeta from my free summon for the null skill banner. Gonna try and get Ilyana before the banner ends but I’m super happy with what I got.
Hopefully my luck will last till this Legendary banner, because P!Felicia is most likely going to be on it and I’d like a few more merges on her (currently +2)

I got +ATK -DEF Scientist L'Arachel last week and +SPD -RES Wizard Hector a few days ago. I'm fine with it. :)

I pulled a decent IV Hector(is -Spd +HP decent?) under 50 orbs. Not only that but Phina was my free summon so ye this banner was lucky for me(also got L'Arachel after 100 orbs)

One of my top units of the radiance saga, which i have wanted for this game since launch. I think the only ones left now are Jill and Tatianna (and probably some i forgot).
