I appreciate how the interviewer lets them talk. So many interviewers ask too specific of questions and try to keep the focus on themselves. She did a good job.
Totally agree she did a great job so many interviewers especially on late night interupt every 2 seconds this interview was great and i loved the movie saw it yesterday
ikr, the interviewer let them laugh and joke around for a while, and easily started talking about the movie again, like a normal conversation
Right on. So many interviewers wanna make it about themselves.
*cough* Stephen Galloway *cough*
There's not much you can do when your interviewees are so caught up in themselves and completely oblivious to other people and the fact that they are in an interview.
florence’s side profile is literally so pretty
florence's any profile is literally so pretty
For a second I thought that was a Jeeves & Wooster reference.
I wished Saoirse Ronan would have let other people the chance to speak!
@@gillianlandry283 yeah she definitely should ask your permission whenever she wants to speak
@@bklyn6803 Your comment is so ridiculous. I was referring to giving a chance to the other actors to speak. What does that have to do with me?
The fact that they are all so quiet everytime the Old man speaks..
RESPECT
“The old man” 😂😂
I actually just realized that was Chris Cooper. Holy SHIT. I didn't recognize him in this interview or the entire movie.
That's Chris Cooper!!!
The way Timmy sits there in the back and allows all these amazing women to shine is filling my heart with such a joy. He is a quite gentlemen, interested in what they’re saying, yet still has his calming presence, intelligence and kind humour. He’s literally outstanding.
perfectly said!
Painful listening to all of their backslapping 🙄
Sooo true
"allows"? no he doesn't. I understand what you mean he is not trying to hoard attention but it's a poor choice of words.
I think Timothee although is one genius actor, he doesn't really know? how to communicate his thoughts in a composed, cohesive manner- sometimes!!!.not always!!! because when he gets really deep into the subject (I noticed), he actually says the most brilliant things, but mostly as I watch more interviews with him in it, he gets off track to what he intend to say and then struggle to get back at it then finish off with an awkward "uhm, yeah".. but let me be clear, he is a genius actor and I think he doesn't need to be such a smooth talker on interviews, his face does all the promotion 😉 so yeah, he is beautiful and he is a really good actor so yeah!
Laura Dern has "resting pride face", as in she always looks so proud of her little chickens
Between this and Lady Bird, anything with Saorise Ronan’s or Greta Gerwig’s name on it is an immediate draw card for me.
R520 J R and Timmy C!
R520 J R anything with any person in this cast is an automatic favorite
Came here for Timothee and ended up falling in love with Saoirse and Florence.
SAMEE
It annoys me Emma Watson it’s not in any of the interviews
Right?!?!?! I wonder why this is
@@mrsc6917 Neither is Meryl Streep!
Same :( They're likely busy filming other movies
Emma watson is an idol not an actress. So she's alwyas busy with her own business.
She's got "f**k off" Harry Potter money. In that situation, I wouldn't be either. 🤣
I love how the sisters are wearing their "colours" like in the movie. Saoirse wearing red, like Jo wears a red cape. Florence wearing a blue dress like Amy wears a blue skirt. Eliza wearing white, symbolic of Beth being described as the "peacemaker"
I want Timothee and Saoirse to play Romeo and Juliet
Yes
As much as I love them as Romeo and juliet but wouldn't that be another heartbreak for us? ☹️We need a movie of their characters end up together happily 😗🙂
@@Jungwonisadifferentbreedofcat i will cry more than when i was watching Little women
He still can but Saoirose is too old now for this, but easily could 10 years ago.....

The cast is from all over: France, Australia, England, Ireland and America.
@chloe ing i think it's because Timothée is French
@@heatherdoty66 ohh ok
@@heatherdoty66 that guy's french?? omg! I thought he was German for some reason idk why
@@soulmatechan The original character from the book is German, so that's not a crazy mistake to make. He was switched to French to accommodate the French actor in this version of LW.
yall dont know louis garrel?????
i love the way timmy looks at people when they talk, you can tell he genuinely listens and is very attentive even though he’s quiet. i cry knowing i could never marry him lmao
He's a cap and caps tend to be observant
He’s almost always attentive to anyone talking during interviews & he knows when to talk or not to talk.
I think the reason why sometimes he’s “all over” during interviews or why at times what he says doesn’t seem to connect is because he has a lot of things to say to whatever is the topic & his brain works faster than he can talk. But when it comes to movies, actors, books & even sports - soccer, fav team Saint-Etienne - he gets very excited to impart whatever it is that he knows. His voc is rich - listen to his speeches of which he said he wrote them himself. They’re not the run-of-the-mill kind of speeches actors are known to dish out. He’s a wide reader, more than average writer & goofy as he might appear who’d throw in jokes with PRECISE timing, he almost always makes sense.
petition for greta to release the b-roll of saoirse and eliza quoting chris lilley
Laughing at their favourite anecdotes, how did they not mention the scene with Florence & Eliza dressed as gentlemen tapping pipes together? That was the coolest thing in the whole movie.
Saiorse just blew me away in the movie same with Florence both amazing actresses
Ava is that as Ava Gardner
Heavenboundson Liibaan yes
@@ava165 thank you.
I Love Ava Gardner R.i.P❤️
I think Timothee is the shy guy that doesn't speak too much in a group, but when he does, he says the right words.
I think he purposely took a back seat to respect the women of the movie bc it's really about them.
@@heatherbukowski2102You hit the nail at its head- this is women’s movie they have more to say than the men’s role.
I noticed how Saoirse speaks first in the few interviews I watched. Then I realized when she doesn’t speak, the rest don’t say much. I love how she uses her decade long experience to keep interviews going.
(The older actors are excluded ofcourse).
I think between her and Greta being somewhat the strongest personalities and also having the strongest roles there. Saoirse would have had to have been on set for essentially the ENTIRE time.
I don't know what I'd do if I met this cast. There isn't a single person in this cast that I dislike I truly love their friendships as well. They aren't one of those casts that are really awkward together and the interviews are really dry because they are ONLY answering the questions and we don't see any banter or humour between them. I get lost in a RUclips spiral watching their interviews and it's a shame that Emma Watson and Meryl Streep are in zERO interviews I swear but I understand that they are busy. Love this cast too much.
They have had buckets of exposure with other roles. Let the real stars of this movie take center stage without distraction
YESSS!!!
@@frogmouth who are the real cast?
@@jasonyntig717 the principal characters are Jo , Theodore ( Laurie), Amy, Marmee Aunt March
Lesser characters Beth , Meg, John Brook. My point was not about who was in and who was out but rather that every single cast member is not mandated to appear in interviews. Emma Watson played a less prominent part Meg.
@@frogmouth oh... true... it Emma only signed the contract that she worked for the project but not interviews and promotions of the film. But I do love some exposure for the other minor character as well, perhaps a stepping stone of their career. Stay safe
I just saw this movie and I cried the last 45 minutes of it 😢, but I absolutely loved it, every single actor was amazing and they brought each of their characters to life.
I loved Florence Pugh in this i think amy was my favourite character
I have very mixed feelings about Amy. I HATED her after she burned Jos' pages and was astounded when Jo came to her rescue on the iced pond. I hung on to resentment MUCH longer than Jo did! But Amy was pragmatic at heart and she played the hand dealt her beautifully. I feel that her marriage to Laurie was probably a rock-solid one
@@denapattison6363 i greta did a good job of making her sympathetic
I’m the book I hated her character but in the movie I sympathised with her a lot.
I feel that I liked her because I relate to her, being the youngest sibling.

She also did at 00: 23 too😏HEHE
For real 😂😂 she is enjoying her time

They would look so good together.
the way Saoirse smiles up at Laura... it’s so warm
24:04 the way timothee was looking at florence omg
In a room full of famous people, Chalamet stands out. As young as he is, there is a ton of charisma on screen coming from him. I think he can have a career that will eclipse even the great Laura Dern and Chris Cooper- maybe at the level of Meryl Streep- one day. He was very good in "The King", "Hot Summer Nights", & "Call Me By Your Name". Could evolve into a Daniel Day Lewis if he stays on track. Once in a while, you see someone become a star and it sticks with you.
i barely noticed him in this interview....hardly had anything to say.
he may just stand out for you. personally Florence Pugh stands out to me I won't lie
Tommy Armstrong that might just be his personality. check out his other interviews. he’s very well spoken
I think timothee is miles off the calibre of D. Day. Lewis.

Weird because i noticed that with Florence and Saoirse too haha.

Everyone is talking about how Emma is not doing any interviews to promote this movie and here is my quick view on it. The reason Emma probably doesn't do anymore interviews is because people, instead of asking about her character in the movie, direct questions to her old Hermione days and her love life.

saoirse is such an incredible and rare person. she is just beaming with comfort and brings out the best in people it is so beautiful. ive watched this a billion times cause i’m marveling at how a person can just be so heartening
Saoirse Ronan is like a radiant beacon of light. She is beyond lovely. A true angel. Her personality, smile, and aura is amazing. ❤
Wish we could hear from the girl on the end. She was amazing in Sharp Objects.
She sure was the first time i saw her was in australian soap called Home and Away
That’s where I recognised her from!!! Love this and lovedddddd sharp objects
her name is Eliza
She's back with another movie. The Devil all the time on Netflix
I love it bow greta got uncomfortable everytime they compliment her, the way she deserves it anyway.
There’s great respect between them............very natural and fluid conversation....... more like an independent film......thank god. It was refreshing....Greta is amazing 😉 😘😘😘
How in the hell was Greta Gerwig not nominated for an Oscar for best director for this film? She is genius. This is the best movie I’ve ever seen in my life. It has me hooked from the moment it starts to the moment it ends. Brilliant.
Can I just say I love Laura she is so well-spoken
Laura Dern and Chris Cooper are definitely the parental figures. Humble, quiet, always have something great to say (as does everyone). And Greta is right in with her younger actors, funny, rambunctious. Every person here has an incredible career ahead of them but I absolutely can’t wait to see where Greta goes!!
Saoirse holding Gretas hand was all I needed in 2020
It’s so pure
Saoirse and Florence are like daughters of Kate winslet. I don’t know I just saw Kate from these two. I am not comparing I’m just reminiscing Kate’s career when she was their age. Both are phenomenal. All of them actually
Saoirse is in a movie with kate
I swear I was like who is Saoirse similar then i realised it was Kate.
Chris Cooper is consistently brilliant. Greta brought him a great role which helped connect older viewers.
Laura and Timmy - the cutest friendship on earth 🌎
During one of the awards night, Laura brought Timothée a “protein bar” & call on him to get it. And that’s what Timothée did, got the protein bar first before the trophy. Laura is so effusive when she was introducing Timothée, she’s like a mother to him.
I love how wise they all are.
I love how you can see how passionate Laura is about her job
a little late to comment but I’m LIVING for this interview. all of them genuinely care about they each have to say and they way all of them speak is so incredible and transparent. their eye contact and gestures are so warm and loving and I really want to know what is said/mouthed when Florence and Saoirse look at each other while Laura talks. Also!! the diversity and accents is INCREDIBLE! THE LAUGHS TOO. UGH SO GOOD:)
I watched the movie with my 13-year-old cousin and he couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. What Timothée is so true, it's about empowering humans.
It’s a beautiful, moving, brilliant film. Loved it. The cast is amazing.
i admire saoirse Ronan so much as an irish person accents from all over the county are sooooo different from the north to the south they get so stronger and thicker she’s so good at switching accents it’s so hard to find a genuine good irish actor who can portray so many different personas i hope to be like her one day amazing my accent isn’t as strong as hers in from more of the south west of ireland but amazing
It’s crazy to me how young and talented Greta is like I know from now on she’s going to get more famous and do big things
I think this is my favourite video ever. Such incredibly real and down to earth human beings who have all this energy and art bursting from them, all in a room where some might feel the need to put on airs and graces…. No affectations here, just humanity and unbridled creativity! LOVE 🥰
The interviewer had such amazing energy, being able to set the tone and allow the actors to speak freely with each other was so fresh
So exited to see Eliza Scanlen's next projects ! In "Litlle Women" and "Sharp Object" she was crazy good. She's gonna be big !
Great interviews. Every single character was amazing. i love this one. i saw the older version and i love the remake. i went with someone who has never seen the older one and she absolutely loved this one. And i noticed that Lauri was always popping up in every seen where the girls were. i cracked up at that and loved it. Great job Greta and actors and actresses. Very good talent. thank you for the entertainment.
i really love and enjoyed watching this interview.. u can really feel the genuineness and bond between all of them
Its a fucking crime that greta didnt get nominated for a golden globe!!! I hope she gets nominated to an oscar! She deserves it so much. The movie was both familiar and new and more than anything it was brilliant.
the way Florence looks at Timothée for prolonged periods of time and the way Timmy touches Saoirse in this interview. very on brand with their characters’ love triangles, Amy loving Laurie while he’s loving Jo
Timmy’s Beatles jackets 🥺❤️
I love their whole dynamic. Like they’re all just friends and I keep noticing their little inside jokes or looks or whispers. I love it ahahha
Is no one gonna talk about how at 6:24 Saoirse did the Debby Ryan face

He's letting the women shine and happy to support them, just like Laurie.
@@heatherbukowski2102 so if he isn't quite he isn't letting them shine no hate am just asking

If you read Louisa's letter exchange with her publisher she was the one who came up with all the marriages. Friedrichs character in little women is based on philosopher Henry Thoreau Louisa was in love with him. Laurie is based on Ladislas Wisniewski a young man who was first flirting with Louisa and then betrayed him. In all of Louisa's novels these two male archetypes are constantly present. The Friedrich archetype is the humble hard working man (Fritz in lw, Mac in Rose in Bloom, David in Work) He has silent passion for the protagonist and the Louisa type of protagonist loves him and wants that equal relationship. Laurie archetype is charming but idle. He either puts his act together and falls for a female character (like Amy) who is stern with them or they fail and fet sucked into consuming toxic self-harming behavior. Little Women is all about Louisa's love life. That is why she had conflicted relationship towards it. Henry was 16 years older (same age difference than between Louisa and the professor) Ladislas was 10 years younger. Louisa and Henry, They did have an affair and almost a telepathic way of communication which is also present in the novels. Henry passed away 5years before LW was published. That is also why Louisa listed out to be nurse in the war. He had lost her sister Lizzie at the same time.
