I worked in a union for almost 40 yrs. No union official ever told me who to vote for. Even though they tried repeatedly. Unless i happened to support the candidate the union supports. I still made up my own mind. Nobody tells me who to vote for. No one.

@@RorkesDriftVC Actually, as a retired federal employee, I disagree. There is a lot of political ideology already in the top tiers of agency management. Most of it's left leaning and woke and that creates an atmosphere where lower-level employees are allowed to be openly biased politically and culturally and those with conservative views are browbeaten into silence. Some agencies are worse than others - like the EPA for example. That consistent left leaning bias needs to be stamped out of the civil service. And remember that change would work both ways, with Democrat presidents appointing their own top people to agencies.

I go to the grocery store twice a week and get about a dozen things. My bill is always between $50 and $65. Everything seems to cost $5 now. No more $1 or $2. I guess that's why the dollar stores are having trouble now. Nothing for them to sell. They have to be the $5 store now.
