Rowlf and Jimmy Dean perform together for the final time on this Ed Sullivan Show appearance on October 8th, 1967.
This is also the earliest known occurence of the Muppets performing the "herd of cows" gag which became a recurring joke in their bag of comedy shtick.

I don't know. With their already existing relationship, you'd think he would have been an easy choice for a Muppet Show guest. Would have liked to have seen that.
