  • An internal fault in my headlight switch required a replacement, an easy job to do once you have the right part. Cost of second hand switch was £20. There are cheaper ones out there but none were compatible with front fogs. Also a lot of left hand drive versions, be careful what you buy!

Just to explain my theory why the connector from the 2005 Fabia is different. Any fabia after 2005 is the facelift model, and even though there isnt any reasonable reason for that to be a different connector, it is. So as long as you buy the 2004 and lower you should be good, if you have a 2004 Fabia or lower. And if you got a 2005 Fabia or higher, you wanna buy parts from those. :)

Hi. The headlight switch is broken in my case. I bought a new one from Amazon but WITHOUT the plastic frame around it. Only the rotating switch. How can i integrate only the switch into the whole thing?

I sort of got lost in waffle part way through this one and mixed up my weeks/days/minutes/seconds but hopefully you will forgive this when the video is filmed without any editing.
I still have the 'wrong' switch with the long thin panel light/beam angle connector so if this is the one you need leave a comment and we can do a cheap deal (the seller was kind enough to do a partial refund without wanting it back).

Hello, I have the same problem with my 2007 Fabia. Where did you buy this switch as I've been quotted £217.

Hi Connor, I just searched on eBay. Check which version you need, if it's the one that I bought first which was wrong for mine then I've still got it. Otherwise, if you're searching on eBay hopefully you'll get lucky. Watch out for the non-UK sellers as LHD cars have the switch combination the opposite way round.
