Taco Bell COPYCAT Crunch Wrap Supreme Recipe on the Griddle

- The Taco Bell Crunchwrap Supreme Copycat… I’ve never done a copycat griddle recipe before on the flat top grill, and when I took a poll to see which Taco Bell menu item you wanted me to make, the Crunch Wrap won by a landslide!
This Crunch Wrap Supreme on the griddle is one of the easiest flat top grill recipes you could ever make. And it tastes pretty darn close to the original Taco Bell version too!
For this video, I tried three different versions of the Taco Bell Crunch Wrap - I did the original copycat, then I also made one with only shredded cheddar cheese, and then another one with both the Taco Bell nacho cheese in the can AND the shredded cheddar. All were fantastic, and if you’re wanting an easy and delicious Taco Bell copycat recipe to make on the Camp Chef, Blackstone, or Pit Boss griddle, then I highly recommend this recipe!

Loving it i am a grill person myself everything u put on the grill and I am a 67 yr old woman love the grill thats my relaxation and a cold beer ☺👍🏽❤
That is awesome! Welcome anytime
Outstanding! Homemade is always better anyway. Looks so good, great job.
Thanks so much!
We did this a few weeks back. It’s really good with shredded pork butt Carnitas from the Instant Pot. Choi oi!
Heck yeah I bet it would have been good...
Thanks! Wanted to let you know, our family gathered today at the farm as a result of your recipe for crunch wraps on the griddle. Great food great family time with our kids, God Bless you and Amy for making this possible.
That is awesome!
I guess I would have to finish all three to make a wise decison. It's the right thing to do. I do what you did on the second one, shredded cheese, small tortilla to close.
Looks great!
Nicely built crunch wraps. Keeping the folds intact seems like the trickiest part, and yours turned out great👍😊
Hey I didn't get a chance to Personally thank you...Thanks Bobbi
Just made these. Delish! Thank you!
Wonderful! Thanks Kyle
I made them for the first time last night and they were amazing!! I made them with both the cheese sauce & shredded cheese plus I added diced white onion with the lettuce & tomato. I will definitely be making them again. Too easy for something so flavourful.
Glad you like them! I thought the same thing.....we just did another version with chili and that was exactly what I said...something so simple and flavorful. like a walking taco Crunchwrap
Looks great. Been doing them for a while now. Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear!
Looks great , the best thing is that it was simple. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Billy
I’d definitely eat the double cheese one! Homemade though. Looks really delicious Neal! A tip of my hat in remembering all our service men and women this Memorial Day!
Noted!
Awesome recipe thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Thanks for liking
Can't wait to try this. Thanks!
Have fun!
cooking at home with familia is the best.
only thing I would change about this build is putting mixed cheese directly on the flat-top to seal the crunch-wrap.
this is the move in my commercial kitchen always, burnt cheese is essential.
Looks delicious 😋
Thank you for your service! ✨
Any time!
I like how fast you are doing this getting right to the point!
Thanks Nancy....I understand your time is important and try to do it...sometimes it takes longer because of the complexity of the dish, but when I can....
Your videos are so helpful!!
Gave me all the info i needed to start with my pitboss ultimate griddle. Regards and greetings from Greece 🇬🇷!!
Glad to help! I have been there before in the Navy...reach out if you need help
@@TheFlatTopKing cant think of anything! All your videos are super and very informative!
I am just glad I am not the only who softens up the butter that way lol
great video! love those crunch wraps too!
HAHHAHAHA
I need to make
Looks yummy, I can’t wait to try it next week while camping. Keep up the good work.👌👌
Thanks MIke, Have Fun....
Yep! That'l Do it! Yum.. always good with the Kickers!
You make everything look very easy sure looks delicious, thanks for sharing my friend! Valentina salsa is very flavorful and goes well with mostly everything.
Just curios...have you every had anything like this or is this so made up its funny..
@@TheFlatTopKing ,
No I’ve never had anything like this not even Taco Bell, but sure love to try your recipe. You’re my teacher
I like to cook the seasoned meat, finely mince it in a food processor like TB does, and add taco sauce in place of 75% of the water.
thats a great tip...thanks
This weather just won't give up! I'm gonna hafta break out the cast iron and do these inside! That looks so good! 😋
hey those are great as well...
I want one with beans! Great video. Love to you both!
Hey I saw your post...we love you too....and are thinking of ya

I am about to season my first Blackstone in about 5 minutes and my 11 year old son is soooo excited.
Thanks for the great library of videos. I have spent the last few weeks watching your content. Thank you for the knowledge and thank you for your service. My dad was also in the Navy in the 80s. 🇺🇸
Well we definitely appreciate it Kassi...thanks for commenting...good luck and reach out if we can help
I don't know if you folks have Carniceria grocery stores in TN, but we have many in CA and AZ (probably NM, TX, etc.) and that's where you can get the really big burrito sized flour tortillas (14 inch or bigger) to make a proper sized crunchwrap! The one thing I've always wished a Taco Bell original had was some beans inside it, and come to think about it I never thought to ask if they could add it. But yes this recipe is on my todo list. Great vid! By the way that sauce your subscriber sent you is EPIC!
I will look around...your right we need BIGGER...ahhaah. Yeah we love the sauce...
I just bought some of the 14" tortillas at Chef Store in Boise, Idaho (A restaurant supply store). I think they're nationwide, but they might not carry the large tortillas at all store. I can't wait to put together some Crunchwraps, using the large flour for the "Wrap", and the smaller crisp corn Tostada tortillas as the "Crunch." Yummy!
Love the crunch wrap idea.
I need one today...im grumpy ahhahahaha
Never had a crunch wrap but will definitely try it. Homemade is always better because you know everything that you put in it. Not mystery meats for sure!!👍🏻
AND way more ingredients..you can actually see and taste the ground beef
Looks good and simple too
Thanks
Look very delicious 🤤 😋 I love defferent kind of tacos 🌮
Me too!!
Just got a Blue Rhino griddle and have been loving it. This is on my Memorial Day menu tomorrow! Thanks for your service bro! Peace from San Diego 😎
Thanks....
I got a BlackStone for Christmas. And just requested to join the Facebook group. Weather is getting close up here in NH so that I can finally start using it!!!
Hey thats awesome...welcome to the family....
Smash burgers was the first thing I cooked on my Camp Chef grill. Huge hit. The second thing I cooked was my spin on the Taco Bell crunch wrap supreme. I used shredded cheese and tostitos cheese in the jar. 8in and 12 in good tortillas and I made them like your double cheese crunch wrap here. Man... what a hit at my house. Thanks for sharing, my family and friends request this all the time.
Well thanks for commenting...
NGL thry all doggone look great!! Im gonna make these for dinner.
Great channel!!👍👍
Thanks for the visit
😀😀😀👍👍❤️gonna make this looks great
It's so good!
Looks delicious
Thanks Scott..
I’ve got to stop watching these in the middle of the night. I literally just choked on my own saliva
A new try for us, I know this sounds strange, but we are just getting our first stand-alone Taco Bell in town. Can't open because they cannot get the AC systems so we wait. Going to try this, of course. Preference I think is the shredded though.
Yes Sir...preference is key....heck try with stewed chicken or chorizo...
I’m so going to try this my husband and I looked at it and look so good
Hope you enjoy
First bite!
Looks good.
TY
Glad to see the Camp Chef back in business.
Been a minute
Looks great! Looks like what you would get at Taco Bell. The only difference you didn’t scimp on the meat and cheese.
I can’t wait to try this out.
Literally the biggest advantage on making at home,....MAKE IT BIGGER
Made these recently and they were perfect. I made 8 and they were gone in 2 days haha Thank you for the easy recipe!
Glad you like them!
Killer job!!!!
Thanks Tommy
Making my grocery delivery list for this week and I am *adding this* to my list.
Aaaaaannnd guess what the wife is having me make this evening lol. Thanks for sharing another great piece of art.
HAHAHHAHHA...dont forget the hot sauce
I made crunchwraps last night!
Great Minds think alike
U are the man king!
TY
Hi I'm new to your channel I love it.
Thanks Pamela...reach out if you need anything
Those are a "Yes!". But I heard that hot sauce comment. I love TB fire sauce, but it sure would've been fine to put some jalapenos or serranos or even some Poblanos in them. Dang, you made the folding look too easy on constructing them. I need to rev up my folding game
HHAHAHAHHA just have a pliable tortilla and your good
That last layer of cheese helps seal up where you fold the crunch wrap together at the bottom and it’s just more cheese ha ha
any reason to have more cheese im down
How can I say most informational video hands down
Appreciated bud
That is great all use sliced tomatoes
"brown your ground beef off really good" *lightly cooks it without browning any of it*
Well maybe the lighting changed but it was there...
Nice! like it...
Thanks!
I'm going to try it no sour cream.Thank you
Hope you enjoy
Taco Bell is a guilty pleasure for sure.
I would use some Doritos for the crunch instead of the tostada. I’ll have to give this a try after the holidays.
I also made a chili version for this and it was fantastic...love the Doritos idea
They look yummy 🤤
TY
@@TheFlatTopKing you are welcome I enjoy your videos
Love the videos & love y’all!! What temp was the griddle for the ground meat? What temp for the Crunchwrap?
Typically on griddle cooking with extreme rare things its more about averages..or low med high....when on a griddle the heat just keeps building and building...so even on low alot of times your actually cooking on a higher temp...I recommend using low and adjusting from there...
Thanks for the prompt response. Followed your advice & video, it came out great!
@@MW95TX awesome
I'm going to try this with a little parmesian encrusted flavor !
We did pizza quesadillas and the trick was a parm crust...definitely worth it
Nice one bud
Thanks 👍
You know the Mexican guy that is in commercials and says "I don't often do " etc but when I do. Well it got me to thinking when your wife said we don't do Taco Bell often but when we do. "Then the camera goes to all three flat top grills full of Taco Bell copycats lol. Someone asking you why would you do Taco Bell copycats, well I would refer them to this video. All 3 of those looked awesome and after cutting them in half the visual effect made them look even better. I felt the same way about the cheese wondering if it over powered everything else. But I love so many cheeses and cannot think of anything I have ever had with cheese and said there was too much cheese. Just curious on these grease holes. I know on some of them the hole is bigger so with this one would it compromise the grease hole if you were to drill the hole bigger. Just wondering. Then I was thinking with football season here this grill stuff is just perfect for game days. What a great talking point and crowd pleasing belly filler. Awesome Video!
Thanks buddy...I personally haven't done it but I know people have...I have never felt like it needed it but I completely understand the concept..with the people who have commented they never communicated back to let me know how it went.
I think mixing cheeses with multiple flavors would really set it over the top...good habanero cheddar etc...
Great Copycat cook, and wouldnt be proper if it didnt have the Mad Scientist Twist Brotha ✊🏼🧐!! The Crunch wrap is definitely 1 of my go-2’s. Awesome episode y’all, like Neal… id have to top it with “my hot sauce” for that added lil Mmmh 😉👌. Cheers guys 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
Thanks Mike...its was good and I really want to try my twist... who knows
Just shared your channel with 3 other new griddle owners ..
Hey I have to tell you thats honestly a great complement....Much appreciated
Great video, thanks for posting. Btw…Meat on a cold griddle? Didn’t you clean it prior? Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I aways heat on high, pour water on it and do a quick steam clean and scrap before cooking
Really no reason to...its clean after use...why would you need to clean both before and after?
You should not watch this when you're intermittent fasting!!! Looks so good!
You aint lying....Might need 3 when done
Two thumbs up.
Looks great! What temp are you cooking at for this recipe?
not sure the temp...i always cook on low....so around high 300 low 400
Would love if you make copycat Oklahoma onion burger on flattop griddle
I have one bud...look in my regional playlist...Oklahoma onion burger...its amazing..let me know what you think...
Made these tonight.. made it with the nacho cheese and without.. The family was impressed… Now I want to make that Hawaiian beef and broccoli.. Just got my Aloha soy sauce today..
hey bud thats awesome...my advice...cut back on the sugar and taster as you go...i thought it was to sweet for me...maybe half the sugar
Sir you’re fast becoming my favourite flat top griller, what is your favourite griddle to cook on
Honestly the more I use the Pit Boss the better i like it...I like all three and its about laziness on which one I use...You cant go wrong with any of them
How could I make these ahead of time and give to guests when they come over? Good to eat cold or only warm.
I've never eaten those, but they look awesome. I'll give them a try. BTW, why no flattop haircut to go with your flattop grill?
ahhahahahha i would look absolutely horrible....
@@TheFlatTopKing Ah, I bet it would look good!
Great copycat recipe. Can’t wait to follow your lead with the double cheese!
Hope you enjoy!
I like ranch dressing in place of sour cream.
You would....
@@TheFlatTopKing I do. I hate sour cream
Valentina is some great hot sauce.. it has a differnt taste then all others. Another that I personally love to cook with when making pulled pork finishing sauce, or anything really is Texas Petes Hot sauce.
Good choice...
@@TheFlatTopKing Especially the Texas Petes Garlic hot sauce. This is what I do with pulled pork or really anything..
Vinegar (white or apple or a mix) few cups
Ketchup
Pepper
Salt
Brown sugar
Red pepper flakes
Texas petes hot garlic sauce
1 lemon cut up.....most important
Poof....best finishing sauce you can make. And the longer you let it sit better it is.
Tacos, fish, pork, its good on it all.
Dam now i got a taste for tacos
AHAHAHHA its a taste that wont just go away either....
Dang those look good. Never had Taco Bell.
you have to try TB first before you make it....
Hey Neil, why don’t you take your drill out and expand the size of that hole in the grease trap?
I honestly never thought it needed it...Mine works fine for a grease trap..not a food trap but a grease trap it gets the job done
Mexican Pizza next please.
Well i have one that I completely redone...Are you wanting a copycat version...
@@TheFlatTopKing it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if that’s what you’re asking.
@@jasonmitchell5215 got ya
What flavor was added at 9:11 by finger licking and nose wiping? Reminded me of South Park S19E4 "The Yelper Special" song....very entertaining! You may or may not know this but you don`t need oil when cooking the crunchwrap. A hot dry grill or skillet will seal it and make the tortilla semi-crunchy too.
Yep. There is usually Lard in the tortillas and they will brown nicely without using additional oil.
Ok full disclosure... I've never had a crunch wrap! Considering I can walk to a Taco Bell, I'm going to have to try this weekend. However, all 3 of yours looked phenomenal! And next time get the large hot sauce😉
HHAHAHAHAH 5 gallon buket....
@@TheFlatTopKing I wonder if there's a 55 gallon drum version 🤔🤔🤣🤣
I agree with you, at least a little hot sauce or picante or something like that.
We’ll here you go again. I gotta go to the store. Do you ever use Chulula hot sauce
I go...its one of my favs...i was just gifted a gallon of hot sauce so trying to run through that
Actually as soon as you started making the two cheese you pretty have me sold then when you cut it definitely have me sold but I'm a total sucker for cheese
HHAHHAHAHA
You’re the champ….
Well thanks Jeff...
What is the size on your large tortilla?
Burrito...not exactly sure the real size in inches..
Can I have one of your grills lol... I ain't got a back yard but I got my tiny porch ...
hahahaahh which one ya want....
How much water did u use
You will have to refresh my mind...why did I use water in this video...if I did it was to mix the taco seasoning and the beef...if that's the case than just the package instructions
That’s just it I think I would cook can refried beans with the meat
sounds good to me...
Now I've got a problem, I'm so hangry!!
hahahaha well good thing is you can make more than one at one time...
What size is that burrito? I can’t find anything that big
Just a standard burrito...we used low carb but I know Mission tortillas have them in a ton of my local stores
Surely you mean, "what size is that TORTILLA." The round flat bread is a tortilla, not a burrito. A burrito is a tortilla wrapped around some meat and other ingredients.
