@@TradeWithTrend Say the stock is RIL why do a RS against nifty 500? For a moment ASSUME nifty is out performing RIL then we don't get the desired result no? Please explain the rational for choosing another index when the stock in consideration has a bench mark index. Thanks.
@Trade With Trend Apologies, Sir. Probably, I wasn't clear in the earlier question. On the tradingview website, the RS indicator asks for 2 inputs. 1. Comparative Symbol, which in our case is Nifty 500 and 2. The length of the period on which the RS has to be calculated. I was referring to the second input. By default, it takes 50 periods for RS studies. Thanks and Regards, Mukunda.
Amazing Video Sir. While trading currency pairs like EURJPY, EURGBP, AUDUSD, which index should we plot in RS? I tried to plot US Dollar Index and for GBPUSD, Candlestick and 150 MA plot is showing same as RS plot.
Hi Bro.. Good morning 👍 1. I have a question.. Do I have to plot NIFTY500 if the stock I am analyzing is not in NIFTY50, eg, Astrazenca. 2. I was just thinking which index to use for commodity and you said it. I never knew it. Can you tell where to get the CRB index data for amibroker? 3. Is this stage analysis applicable for intraday?
Answered below. 1) Yes you can use Nifty 500. Its a broad index and reflects trend well. 2) Stage Analysis is applicable in all forms of trading. For Intraday, cycles will be short though. 3) Please find below resource for downloading CRB Index Data in.investing. com/indices/thomson-reuters---jefferies-crb-historical-data

200 MA for Positional Trading.

Hi. Nice guidelines to short a stock. I would like to know HOW to fix a company with diverse businesses e.g. Reliance Ind?
One more master stroke.. sir thank you so much for being such great altruistic.. 🙏☺️
One point I want to make you notice from my side. I rigorously following your videos since long.. manytimes I wrote down conditions/rules shared by you in the video . Watched same videos countless time . But somehow i end up forgetting concepts . I really not able to remember things taught by you.. request you to kindly let us know how to implement the same.. and sir . Seriously I am doing practice. But still sometimes not able to connect the concepts ..
Thanks so much Gaurav. Have you written down a trading plan? If not, then clearly write out a detailed plan. Mind will then follow it subconsciously.
@@TradeWithTrend thank you sir for suggestion... But will you please through some light on "trading plan as in??" I mean I know literal meaning of that.. what else needs to be taken care of???

Sir,
What is the period for which we will have to evaluate to check whether a stock is out performing or under performing the index?
Thank you for this brilliant video.
Regards,
Mukunda.
Hi Mukunda
Use on daily time frame.
Stock against Nifty 500 would give you a good starting point.
1. Comparative Symbol, which in our case is Nifty 500 and
2. The length of the period on which the RS has to be calculated.
I was referring to the second input.
By default, it takes 50 periods for RS studies.
Thanks and Regards,
Mukunda.
Amazing Video Sir.
While trading currency pairs like EURJPY, EURGBP, AUDUSD, which index should we plot in RS?
I tried to plot US Dollar Index and for GBPUSD, Candlestick and 150 MA plot is showing same as RS plot.
Plot EUR, INR, GBP, JPY against US Dollar Index.
Hope this helps.

Stan Weinstein method is just a framework combining Candlesticks, Volume, RS and Patterns.
This can be setup across any platform.
Can this be used in intraday trade. If yes what would be the SMA . THANKS. LIKED YOUR VIDEO
Concepts across all time frames remain the same.
For Intraday, you can select 200 SMA.

Hi Bro.. Good morning 👍
3) Please find below resource for downloading CRB Index Data

Thanks for your effort and time. Nice to hear about Stan Weinstein's method from you. Can u make a video about "Turtle traders"? Thanks a lot. Have a nice time.
Thanks Kkmb
Turtle Traders Methodology?
@@TradeWithTrend Yes, I learned about Mr. Richard J. Dennis and his team (Turtle traders). The method is a combination of breakout method + volitality + positional size but I feel some difficulties in understanding the concept completely. It is like more or less what you teach in your earlier videos. I hope you can also create a team like Mr. Dennis.......:) Thanks a lot.
Thanks Kkmb
Most of the concepts of Turtle Traders was based on Donchian channel breakouts.
I will be covering both these concepts.
@@TradeWithTrend Yes, It's based on DC breakouts but the technique of position seizing (pyramiding) based on volatility which makes them more successful in trading. Kindly explain it with some examples if possible. Thanks a lot.

@@TradeWithTrend What does the plot mean?
Hi, This is very interesting...Couple of questions....It seems that RS moves almost in a similar pattern like the RSI (though its not the same)......
Also, When a stock is falling and the RS (measured against its sector index) isnt falling, does it mean that even though the entire sector is coming down, this stock is falling the least as compared to others in the sector.??
Thanks for your comment.
Yes this would mean Stock is outperforming the sector.
