-Do you have any special skills? -Oh yes, I can become an unforgettable childhood, teenagehood or adulthood hero in any person's heart, through movies.
Robin Williams - a genie, a robot man, a "nanny", a poetry teacher, a father and a lost boy in Neverland, a 200 year-old Man, a jungleman, a war broadcaster, a Doctor. But in the end, he is the everliving legend
@Rainbow Dash Actually Disney went against his wish. He didn't want genie to be a commercial products but you know Disney...then he quit being our beloved genie. At least, we still have him in many more memorable roles
@Rainbow Dash If you were a kid in the 90's, sure. He was at his best when he was allowed to be himself and juxtapose a crazy bombastic personality with seriousness and pain. Dead Poet's Society, Good Morning Vietnam, Good Will Hunting, hell even Ms. Doubtfire.
if you can find his "Inside the actors studio with James Lipton" episode its really, really, really good. theres lots of good episodes of that series but that ones in particular is amazing.

I don't believe that....I believe you can find your voice at any time in life as long as you are searching for it......but to find it while young, yes that is best. Gives you the most time. I believe traumatized children....i.e. abused kids, foster kids, adopted kids, orphans.......they are stunted so badly from the very beginning or from very early on, that it takes them extra time for just about everything. I was standing in a deli grabbing dinner and looked up and saw the news that he passed. I quietly said ….no not Robin. A beam of tremendous light in an increasingly dark world. My favorite actor of all time so real so relatable.
Even with this video being 7 years old, it itself will never get old. I love randomly thinking about this and coming back to listen to this song once again but then the memories of growing up watching his movies flood back and it makes me re-live the sadness of knowing he is gone. For someone I’ve never met, his death hit me the hardest and almost brings tears to my eyes even writing this. He will always be the greatest actor there ever was in my book.
When I first heard of Robin's death, I cried...I cried as much as I did when Leonard Nimoy died, but for very different reasons. I am depressed, clinically. Sure, I have those days where I smile at the world...the days where I feel almost normal...Robin had a high IQ, and with a high IQ comes this inescapable ability to think, overthink, and re-think everything in life...and sometimes, all that thinking is an emotional drag..you want to see the best in the world..but you know that, in reality, the best in the world is scattered, limited, and dwindling..He was outwardly happy and uplifting..He was funny, witty, and that high IQ helped with his ability to think on the fly...but it also, as can be the case, be a burden to ones self. Robin was dying...he had a disease that little was known about..that little is still known about..Lewy Body Dementia. The symptoms came and went in such a way that it was hard to pin down the problem..and Robin would sometimes spend hours at a time unable to control his body...He was dying, and he felt the only relief he would have was to take his own life.. Maybe he thought it would be better to die while he still had the ability to control his own life...maybe he thought about his wife and children seeing him dwindle away into a shell of his former self, and didn't want them to suffer watching him decay, withering away, having a piece of him stolen each day by a disease he knew little about..He went out on his own terms...and it's sad.. I'm a man of voices, and always wanting to make those around me smile or laugh..I want people to feel better than I feel on a daily basis..When I heard he'd taken his own life..I felt fear, panic, loss...I looked up to the man...I modeled myself after him...the funny man...the loving, caring person, the wit, the compassionate philanthropist...I see a lot of Williams in myself..and it scares me that he got to a point where ultimately, he thought the only option was to end his own life in order to preserve the magic of who he was...he didn't want his family or his friends or his fans to see him dying...to see him losing bits of himself... Thank for the memories, Robin Williams..Thank you for being part of the childhood's of millions of adults who, to this day, see your work and still mourn you, knowing that there will never be another person quite like you..that nobody will grow up with new things to see from you... All we have now are memories...fond ones...of films that touched our hearts and minds..You made us laugh, you made us cry..you made us feel...Thank you..From the bottom of my heart, and the hearts of millions..Thank you...wherever you are...
@@Surteronarto you are silly ... he was happily married to his wife, he killed himself because something not diagnosed was taking over his world, lewy body dementia which was misdiagnosed as parkinsons disease. Robin was not such a simpleton that he viewed things so 1-dimensionally, humans are complex, he would never have characterised "all women" into a lumped category, grow a brain dude.
I was curious so I looked it up. This is Robin's widow talking about what happened in the time leading up to his death. So sad. n.neurology.org/content/87/13/1308
Your tortured soul is now at Peace Robin. Millions will miss the joy and laughter you brought into our lives. A wonderful tribute Melodysheep, thank you
"Passion, Poetry, Beauty, Romance and Love...." All the things Robin felt as though he didn't have in the world. It's so sad, because despite this only being a movie, if he had only thought back to those words, he may have remembered the reasons to stay alive himself. Rest in peace, Robin. You'll forever be remembered and loved.
Hey guys - this video is up for a Webby this year. I would love it if you supported my work with a vote! pv.webbyawards.com/2015/online-film-video/general-film-categories/video-remixesmashups
I remember first hearing this in my elementary school P.E class ever since then I remember feeling a sense of happiness and now nostalgia. Thx for bringing me back to simpler times.
I listened to this the night before a job interview to soothe my anxiety a few days ago. The interview process wasn’t going to continue, but still I seized the day. Thanks for your advice Robin ❤
+lancemichael gubat i know what the believers of that book think. and i don't care about those thoughts! Missing hi because he is dead isn't linked to the way he died, i don't care if he died because he had a car accident, fell off a cliff or did suicide. I miss him for his acting while alive. i don't care that "christinas" think he will come into hell for suicide. i don't believe in that stuff. he is dead. gone. away. and it hurts. the world has lost a great actor. that's what i miss him for.
+Zenzi Krämer Dont worry he is in the next realm, he is not far away and i know for a fact that he does not want you to feel sad, im not religious at all but i know Robin is in a place where we will see him again!
Unless I'm mistaken, "that book" never says anything about going to hell if one commits suicide. I've heard some people say it, but I haven't found any Biblical context. What the Bible _does_ say is that nothing can separate us from God's love: life, death, angels, demons, height, depth, or anything else in creation. Now, I don't mean to give you any false hopes (if you do believe any of this.) Whether Robin Williams will go to heaven or not is anyone's guess, but I think you should know that he is in good hands.
This video came out 5 years ago and I still can't believe that this huge personality and this amazing person left us. After Chester Bennington, Keith Flint, Steve Irwin and Robin Williams I feel like all of my childhood heroes have left me. Each and avery one of them left a mark on a specific part of my life, but Robin has made a hole that will never ever be able to be replaced by anything, ever. This man is and always will be the best and most human and natural person that ever was and ever will be alive. Thank you for gifting us innumerable laughs, uncountable meaningful performances and an absolutely amazing role model to look up to. You deserve heaven, oh captain, my captain.
This video made me run, and keep running because, If I didn’t stop running I’d cry And if I cried, I wouldn’t find my voice and seize the day RIP Robin Williams. We all miss you
Mr. Boswell and Team you don’t know me. You have a unique taste to the most important things in life. My compliment to you and your team is like this: if every human being would have the opportunity to see your material in youth, this world would be so better!! Thanks so much!!!
To this day he makes me smile on my worst days. We regularly watch his comedy shows. He was only given to us for a little while but look at the magical memories he gave us all. We love you Robin.
My first time of seeing the brilliance of Robin Williams was on a little TV show called Happy Days. It was his first acting job on a television series and he got to play an alien named Mork. Producers were SO impressed with his performance that a new TV show was created for him. Thus was the beginning of "Mork & Mindy" starring Robin Williams and the beautiful Pam Dawber AKA Mrs. Mark Harmon (NCIS). They had 4 great seasons before the show was canceled. During M & M's, is when movie offers started coming in for Robin. Plus Comedy Relief with Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal. For me, I'll always remember him as an innocent, sweet, and naive alien from the planet Ork. Nanoo, nanoo. 🖖
Robin, you died when I was only 9, I’m 15 now and I miss you so much. I still cry listening to this and I wish to see you one day when I pass too, you are missed and we love you so much. Rest in honor and peace ❤️
Don't mourn for him. That'd be the antithesis of everything he did in his life. Instead of mourning, remember him as he was: a giant ray of sunshine and laughter that no one can take away from you. Follow his example, become the entertainer he was, bring joy to as many people as you possibly can, and Robin will never truly fade from existence. I swear, if it takes me a lifetime, I will be as great an entertainer as him, my most favorite comedian and person in the world. I'll never let Robin disappear.
The first ever Robin Williams movie I watched was R.V. And I loved him ever since, and my reason is the first movie I watched was with my dad. I never get to see my dad much anymore but whenever a Robin Williams movie comes on it reminds me of my dad. Also I remember saying to my dad wen I was 7 "Daddy can you take me to see Robin Williams one day." He said yes. I cried for a week straight when he died, and I still cry. R.I.P. Robin Williams you've made me the happiest person from day 1. I miss you.
Robin Williams was/is my roe model and has inspired me to just be who I am and not be afraid of it. This video is the best tribute to the legend there is. It makes me tear up. Thank you @melodysheep for this tribute!
Two years later.. I reposted it everywhere, never forget. Such a beautiful tribute even after all of the times I've watched it. To any naysayers, I'm pretty sure its Robin's voice, but made to sound as if he sung it with a synthesizer of sorts. All kinds of stuff like that can do almost anything. I like & appreciate how many of his movie roles were incorporated into this. I couldn't think of a more beautiful way to remember a person as special as him. 😙💜
Every so often I find myself coming back to this video and it still brings a tear to my eye. Robin Williams was a gift. What a touching tribute this video is.
Indeed.. He brought such JOY to my life. Each time I see a Comedy bit of his, or enjoy one of his movies, I am delighted that because of Technology, we are able to re-live the Fun moments he gave us.😢
There won't ever be a moment I don't miss this man - I only recently watched Dead Poets Society and wish Robin Williams could rise from the dead and be my teacher, this video is amazing, I cry every time I watch it😊
It's amazing to me how many people feel the same way I do about this man - how much joy he brought them, that they felt they almost knew him, and that his passing has left a strange, sad void nothing seems to fill somewhere in their heart. The phrase "he will be missed" had been said often and about many people, but perhaps it rings no truer than when it's said about Robin Williams.
I think the tragedy of this legend is that he spent his life trying hard (and mastering) making people laugh that (...and I know you all wont like this...) He didnt take time out to connect with the God of all People. The one who gave life to Robbin Williams was not acknowledged, not by Robbin, not by those who admired Robbin. A life devoid of God is no life to live. He made us all laugh....for which we are grateful to Robbin, but don't be a victim of His fate by neglecting God. Read God's final Book: the Quran. Learn about His final messenger: Muhammad (peace be upon him)
_"We don't make auto-tune arrangements because it's cute. We make auto-tune arrangements because we are members of the human race, and the human race is filled with passion, music, beauty, romance, love. These are what we stay alive for."_ *~ Robin Williams, after seeing his words played around with*
This is wonderful. Thank you for making this amazing tribute to the late and great Robin Williams. May he rest in peace... I didn't know him personally but I feel the loss of him not being with us anymore... He was a part of my childhood, as he was for many of us... A one of a kind human being, that's for sure.... R.I.P. Robin... you are sorely missed.
R.I.P Robin Williams :'( I will FOREVER and EVER miss you until I die... You were considered my #1 Favorite Actor of all-time and you shall be. You will be the brightest star in the universe of comedy and acting... Goodbye Robin Williams :'(
What a horrible day when he died. I can only imagine those who knew him-not just the world- crying endlessly. What a sad horrible day. Made us laugh so hard because internally he was feeling agony. An agony that couldn’t be cured or treated. I’m pleased he gave us the ability to laugh and love his performances. I hope his family is doing well despite him being gone. This is such a great video. Great job man!
Such a talented man! And how sad too- all those years he spent making us laugh and he was in emotional pain. May God bless him and his family. I hope he's at peace now
It's been almost three years since we lost him...I still miss him. I will miss him for the rest of my life. I've never cried for anyone like I cried for him :'(.
Robin never died people. His memory lives on in our hearts. Even though it is painful knowing we won’t be able to see him again for a long time, he wouldn’t want us to wallow. He’d want us to seize the day. And to you Mr. Williams, I look forward to seeing you’re shows in the sky one day you absolute legend.
August 11, 2019. It's been 5 years. You are a legend Robin. Everyday I joke around and have the time of my life. People think I'm weird but I dont care you showed me what it meant to be a kid even as an adult. I hope you're making everybody laugh up there. Only in thier dreams can men be truly free. It was always thus, and always thus it'll be... Rest In Peace Robin Willams (1951-2014)
I was little with bob ross and mr Rogers grew up with robin im 25 now it amazing what an impact these men had they raised a generation of creative and selfless people... we need more men like them
The first Disney movie I ever saw in theaters: Aladdin. My mom took me to see it when I was just a little tyke, we had the *whole* theater all to ourselves. I saw the movie, and I loved it, so much so, I came home reciting the whole darn thing; Mom and everybody else who was tuning in were all totally floored by it. A lot of great movies were made with Robin Williams: Hook, Jumanji, Patch Adams, Good Will Hunting, The Fisher King - all of ‘em, timeless works of art, so it’s just as the song goes: we never had a friend like him. I love ya, Robin, and as sure as the sun comes up each morning, I sure do miss ya. 🥺🥹😔
Oddly enough I keep coming back to this video randomly. I love it. 🥰 robin williams and this song is so awesome. Truly a great tribute to someone greater than the sum of who he was.
I was here 8 years ago when I was 11, I've been a musian for awhile. And it's things like this that continue to remind me why I do what I do. We all miss you Robin and thank you melody sheep for making this.

@Leighton Reith lolzor... but it was also such a powerfully written post.
very good words. true and relatable. all the best for you
I was curious so I looked it up. This is Robin's widow talking about what happened in the time leading up to his death. So sad. n.neurology.org/content/87/13/1308
@TheTriforceKid
That was beautiful. Thank you.
I shed a manly tear. Ok a few manly tears.
One manly tear shall do.
I feel with ya.
We all did when this great man passed away.
i could be in literally any mood when i watch this and i will start bawling immediately, i truly love this

Your tortured soul is now at Peace Robin. Millions will miss the joy and laughter you brought into our lives. A wonderful tribute Melodysheep, thank you
Aeghamedic Don't judge. He WILL be missed.
Aeghamedic
How is that comment in any way romanticizing suicide? Pull that stick out of your ass before it reaches your brain.
Aeghamedic Some (albeit very few) suicides are romantic, when people voluntarily kill themsleves for another. Examples: Romeo, Juliet, Jesus.
GOD bless you my friend , you've made countless millions of people, laugh and cry, you are genuinely missed by them all, I hope you have found peace.
"Passion, Poetry, Beauty, Romance and Love...."
All the things Robin felt as though he didn't have in the world. It's so sad, because despite this only being a movie, if he had only thought back to those words, he may have remembered the reasons to stay alive himself.
Rest in peace, Robin. You'll forever be remembered and loved.
if I had a teacher like Robin Williams, I would never want to leave school.

Happy 71th Birthday, Robin. :') We miss you like crazy.......
I listened to this the night before a job interview to soothe my anxiety a few days ago. The interview process wasn’t going to continue, but still I seized the day. Thanks for your advice Robin ❤
We're proud of you, and we're pulling for you.
Don't forget that.
This could be extended... it's so beautiful, I don't want it to stop!
Do as I do - play it again...!
- and again.....
it would be awesome to add the "spark of madness" sketch..
GorillaGuerilla...ang again, and again! I can't stop watching it! O Captain!, My Captain!

@ the rekt
I miss him too but hes in a better place
+Firebro 2cool yep
This video made me cry. I can't overcome his death. I Miss him so much.
You wanna know what christians think of his death?
+lancemichael gubat i know what the believers of that book think. and i don't care about those thoughts! Missing hi because he is dead isn't linked to the way he died, i don't care if he died because he had a car accident, fell off a cliff or did suicide. I miss him for his acting while alive. i don't care that "christinas" think he will come into hell for suicide. i don't believe in that stuff. he is dead. gone. away. and it hurts. the world has lost a great actor. that's what i miss him for.
+Zenzi Krämer I am a Christian and I personally believe he is in heaven. It doesn't matter how he died.
You deserve heaven, oh captain, my captain.
agreed god losing steve was hard
@@wildcathill To me, losing Robin was as hard as losing Carlin and I miss them both.
Half the views are me rewatching it
+THEMSN_ONE the rest are me
+THEMSN_ONE xD
+Nathan DV Definetly
+THEMSN_ONE same here.
+THEMSN_ONE and half of them are also mine. Wait... RUclips must be misscounting here. This video should have dozens of times the views it does.
This video made me run, and keep running because,
If I didn’t stop running
I’d cry
And if I cried,
I wouldn’t find my voice and seize the day
RIP Robin Williams. We all miss you
This video is so, so well crafted. Kudos to melodysheep, for making me cry.
Go vegan :D
He was a great actor, but even he found his end with depression. No matter who you are, find your voice.
Can't believe its been 6 years. He would've been 69 today
The amount of jokes he would have made about that would have been amazing :)
nice :(
Real classy
the best teacher
Yes its very loving and true im loves you we are same energy different huan biengs
God dammit melodysheep... you made me shed a tear as I realized how much I really miss this dude. What a class act. Rest in peace.
This is one of the greatest pieces of art on the internet.
What Dreams May Come is one of the most powerful movies I've seen. It, like all of his other work, was fantastic.
Whenever I want to cry uncontrollably I come back and watch this all over again. I miss Robin Williams so much :(
Two years later.. 😙💜
"the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse"
That quote holds so much weight in my mind and gives me so much hope for the future
Five years after he's gone, I still hate that he isn't here anymore. He was an astounding man.
Everybody forgot about Robin Williams but I still remember him. And seeing the active comments makes me happy!
Every so often I find myself coming back to this video and it still brings a tear to my eye. Robin Williams was a gift. What a touching tribute this video is.
Indeed.. He brought such JOY to my life. Each time I see a Comedy bit of his, or enjoy one of his movies, I am delighted that because of Technology, we are able to re-live the Fun moments he gave us.😢
This gets me every time. A perfect tribute for a perfect man. Love you 3000, Robin Williams.
I can’t believe it’s been 6 years and i keep coming back.
it’s 2020 and this song still brings me to tears R.I.P Mr williams
Damn....this makes me cry ever time I watch it...We all miss you soo darn much Robin...
There won't ever be a moment I don't miss this man - I only recently watched Dead Poets Society and wish Robin Williams could rise from the dead and be my teacher, this video is amazing, I cry every time I watch it😊
:'(
I do, too. He was such a great actor :(
I come here once in a while..
It’s been 5 years since he passed. I will continue to listen to this forever. ♥️ Rest In Peace.
8 this year 🥺
Only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus and always thus will be.
Who else got major goosebumps while listening to this?
i can’t stop listening to it, i just remembered the seize the day line and immediately remembered this existed i’m so happy i found it again
I found this this morning and I've already listened to it 9 times during the day. You are awesome, thank you for your work.

Lydia Xavier Great!
A beautiful tribute to a beautiful man. This song video is going into my heart. Thank you.
This is the only celebrity death that hit me really hard. RIP Robin, we miss you.
R.I.P Robin Williams :'( I will FOREVER and EVER miss you until I die... You were considered my #1 Favorite Actor of all-time and you shall be. You will be the brightest star in the universe of comedy and acting... Goodbye Robin Williams :'(
I LOVE THIS! his Voice really lends to this, Rest In Peace Mr. Willams, Thanks for all the joy and memories you brought to us While you were here
What an awesome tribute to Robin Williams. He will be missed.
MelodySheep: Whenever I think of robin your beautiful song comes and sings to me. The Power of Robin Lives On!
Damn you for making me cry! Just when I thought I was over Robin's untimely departure from this planet, I have to see this!
Peek 1:47 “You must strive to find your own voice, because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all”.
The fact that you were able to put the Raptor Rap in there, makes me love what you do even more :)
I can't express how happy I am to have found this today. I really needed something like this for a spirt booster.
Rest In Peace Robin Willams
(1951-2014)
No matter how many times i watch this. I always cry. We miss you everyday Robin.
I CANT STOP PLAYING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
10 Years without you Robin :(
idk if it's weird but this.motivates me to study
Marian Segovia That's good.
Its weird
Good. If this makes you more successful Robin would be happy!
IM NOT CRYING!!! I-I JUST GOT SOMETHING IN MY EYES!!!
Honor and remember, the man who could make a whole world smile. Always a vid I listen too, and a song on spotify I love the most.
This is a perfect tribute to the man of positive energy... thank you Melodysheep for making this video. Beautiful one.
When I get low, I love to come and listen to this. Robin Williams was such an inspiration and though he's gone, it's nice to have him still here.
