YES.. so true. Alas.. the world isn't about talent or quality now.
I've been trying to figure out what it is about their music that I like so much, and I'm thinking a huge part of it is just how happy, cheerful and charming it is, and they are. There's plenty of bad news in the world these days, but I listen to Mona and Lisa and find myself smiling, laughing, the stress is gone, and I'm ready to hear more. I love it.

Came accross the MonaLisa Twins on their livestream by accident today. A breath of fresh air. They are fantastic. I love their origional songs. I am in it for love and Politician. I am amazed at how good they are. Absolutely superb.
I can just imagine The Beatles, The Small Faces or The Kinks doing this song in 67.
Beautiful example of how a great song is lyrically simply not rushed.

Any other day is another amazing video by the MonaLisa Twins. This one really reminds me of the 60's music that I grew up with. I love how their music is 8 billion times better that anything out there today. Stay groovy Mona & Lisa !!!
Okay, after hearing this almost 50 times, I have to say that I find the bass line on this composition just perfectly matched to the feel and flow. It is not trite, it is sophisticated but not flowery. Kudos to the artists responsible, (presumably the twins) and to whomever mixed it.
Their dad is heavily involved. He's the bassist and does most of the production. He ran a professional recording studio for many years before focusing on his kids' band.
You are obviously so musically talented (and, oh so easy on the eye) but what I can't believe is lyrics as good as these from people who don't have English as their first language.
Funny how you watch a video thinking it looks familiar, then realise it’s 5 miles from where I live! Great song and showed off the area brilliantly! 😊

It reminds me of songs like "Close to You" (Carpenters, not the MLT song) or "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head." Just really upbeat and positive, like a nice Spring day.

On February 10, 2009, like Any Other Day, I walked into the Post Office in California. I noticed a beautiful girl and we happened to walk out together. We're still together. 💛❤ This beautiful and magical song captures that feeling perfectly. Something that I cannot put in words. It's already a classic.

This is one of those songs that just makes you smile! Catchy, clever, and oh those harmonies! Kudos to the MLT team for another wonderful video and a special shout out to Trudy the Wonder Pigeon for assembling such a great cast of extras!

You are absolutely right - they truly are awesome pieces of the process, preserved for years to come! It is very satisfying to feel that in a tiny way, I am supporting and sharing in the MLT's musical journey.
This is my first band I started to support. I have listened to this many times going down the highway in my semi from the Why? Album. They seem to always put my soul to calm. I've been following you since you were very young, just getting started. You have developed into exceptionally good songwriters. Your melodies are pure and lovely. Your lyrics are simple, but tell compelling stories. Put them together and it's like coming home to a place of love and safety. I'm glad ... I'm fortunate to know you. It was a lucky day when our paths crossed. The world is a bit better for many people because of you.
I've introduced your work to a female guitar student that I had back in the day. She now has a self-produced album, and two self-produced videos. She's really come a long way. And she loved your work so much that she's going to put several of your songs into her regular rotations when she's playing live. And for good reason, your music is absolutely wonderful.

MonaLisa Twins is a very interesting band. It could be called a tribute band, but the girls do not follow the repertoire of one artist. It could be called a cover band, but it has its own creativity. And in all their incarnations, the girls work excellently! That's why I love them: they not only play and sing beautifully, not only take care of the creativity of those they reproduce, but also masterfully preserve the spirit of those times when the sky was bluer, the grass was greener, and people were kinder.

Lisa absolutely shines in this video. Her smile is infectious! The song itself has me under its spell. If I'm not playing it I'm singing it to myself. It really chases away the winter blues.
You can tell from the coats and the scarves that this was a chilly day of filming, but darn if Spring didn't come early when the radiant Lisa began to sing and she and sweet Mona began to fill the air with their lovely voices, like the first flowers blooming and the first birds singing to let us know that warmer days are ahead. As someone once said, here comes the sun!
I can not tell you how brilliant this video is. The concept, location, scenery, Mona slipping in and out of the scene, every detail included.
