Submit a Fan MOC, link in the description! I also added a place in the submission form to link your Flickr profile if you have one! Who knows, your MOC might just capture my eye at the right moment... -Mike
Agreed. I made it on once like half a decade ago in the fan mocs category and it was a big high of excitement for a couple days thereafter even though it was just a quick moment lol. One day I hope I can be making MOCs of a high enough quality that they may make it onto the main page.
The blue pieces on the sides of Benny's crab mech are old Bionicle Rahkshi shells; they made up the curved spine giving them a menacing, hunched over look.
These MOC compilations are always nice because they’re handpicked and I don’t have to go through rebrickable or other websites to find good MOCs. My favorite one here is the space chameleon thing. The storytelling is so fun. I love the space builds seen here.
Wait, a transforming Blitzwing at microfigure scale? That is absolutely insane! To have it transform at that scale requires some ingenuity, and _you,_ sir/ma'am, have that! What pieces did you use for his weapons? I doubt the sword just _happened_ to have the right colors to match Blitzwing's color scheme, right?
I was once a big fan of lego mocs which I also build by my own. After some creators (many creators) stopped buildinh with these beautiful lego bricks and top 10 mocs of the week were not uploaded, my dark ages began. All I can say that after watching a new Top 10 Mocs of the Week Episode, I am rising from my nearly 2 year long dark age period AND WILL RETURN TO LEGO, THANKS BRICKVAULT
Excited to see this series pop back up in my recommended again after so long! Back in the day this series was a major inspiration for me starting to delve into the world of MOC building. I just know I’m gonna go on a binge of watching these again now lol
Haha, thank you! We definitely get less views with the new episodes than we used to with the old ones so every view is very much appreciated. Super happy that you still enjoy! -Mike
Thank you for featuring and my model and for being so generous with your compliments about the whole of my account. It's a real privilege! I've always enjoyed these videos. There are always MOCs that I've missed and builders who are new to me too. Thank you!
Thanks for featuring my little crabby! He’s very happy! As I think someone said elsewhere here, the blue curved pieces are the spinal column of a bionicle Rahkshi figure. 😊👍🙏
10 makes me think of a Roblox build. 9 makes me think of Samurai Jack. 4 caught my attention, thinking of the robot dog in the book Fahrenheit 451, though that was described with 8 legs, the fact that the book mentions "Dog" made me picture something similar to No.4 in the vid. 3, that Crab Mech is cute! I think those blue curve pieces came from some Bionicle set. 1 ooh, that greeble work on those thrusters... so inspiring... I really gotta get to work.
The robot dog is by far my favourite. Much more ingenious building techniques than the ship. The ship is just a huge lump and uses random pieces everywhere, that's not creative. The dog took talent to make, and an insight into canine anatomy. Having that 5-minute crab build directly above is just a slap in the face to the creator
It's really hard to choose which is the best, it's all very subjective. I love that dog too! The list is never a set in stone ranking tbh, more like a showcase and celebration of the MOC community in general. There is no better or worse! -Mike
@@BrickVault Yeah fair enough, maybe I could have voiced my opinion a bit nicer too. I'm not usually a keyboard warrior, I just really liked that dog! And you're right, it is of course a completely subjective thing
Not digging most of these honestly; too sci-fi for my taste. The best one is number 9 imo which, If I'm not mistaken is inspired by 'Wizards', an animated movie from 1977.
The round pimples with the LEGO logo that make LEGO bricks connections possible. Present on most regular LEGO bricks. Tiles, for example, have no studs and are called "studless". LEGO people often reference to LEGO bricks sizes using the studs amounts. For example, a 2x4 brick is 4 studs long, 2 studs wide. -Mike
The views are for sure lower, I hope it will pick up but I really enjoy the energy in the comments! A lot of returning viewers are enjoying the series again and I'm here for it! -Mike
Not sure why the audio is "hard to listen to" for you. It's crystal clear on my phone. Don't know what phone you are using...but, if it doesn't have auto-EQ ability, you might consider trying to change the EQ settings. If your phone has EQ 'presets', look for a "vocal" or "speech" setting. Then again, maybe it's just that you're having difficulty understanding his accent.
I'm using a very decent microphone and never had such a comment with this setup. I'm not gonna apologize for my accent again, sorry you don't like it but this is how I sound. Peace. -Mike
Thank you so much for this first position.
This is a great honor
My pleasure! Incredible build! -Mike
If I can make it onto one of these videos one day, I can die a happy man.

isn’t that also a bohrok head for the glass
Yep!
The wisteria dragon honorable mention was utterly stunning. Should definitely do a closer look for the next MOC list.
Thank you for the honourable mention, I’m so glad the top 10 mocs is back

For the Birds! Love it! Brings me back. Miss those days 😄
#9 I think is either heavily inspired by. or references an old animated movie from the late 70s early 80s. Called Wizards.
Great Top Ten and bonus mocs.🙂
Good old Benny.
Crab. Crab! CRAB!!!

The last one’s details, especially the back end and engines give me the BayVerse Transformer feel. Similar to the Autobot ship “The Arc”
I love #10! Very cool looking. Especially all lit up inside.
It's such a clever build! And I just noticed the white croissants for the waterfall bases! -Mike

@@BrickVault I will never not enjoy this channel and these series :D
Number 9 reminds me of Ralph Bakshi’s Wizards mashed up with Horizon Zero Dawn.
The blue pieces are bionicle rahkshi backs 😁
You beat me to it!
Thanks, good eye! -Mike
The ship is sick
I need to see that first MOC in a video to see how it works I'm fascinated
Number 5 reminds me of that Tom Cruise oblivion movie

@@BrickVault No it's not the accent; there's a bit of distortion on the mic sound, as if it's a bit too loud for the recording.
