If anything, maybe I would have Jennifer partake in the whistle harmony on the 'Santa,' but that's it. Jennifer's voice is so powerful, so having her do more would be overdoing it, I think. The way they did it, it's like you just keep wanting to replay it to hear their respective contributions. I've already played this close to 100 times and haven't tired of it.

@@thenicominaj I thought the way they did the vocals was very well proportioned and elegant. The first half had Jennifer heavier on the support, and the second half had more Ari. If anything, maybe I would have Jennifer partake in the whistle harmony on the 'Santa,' but that's it. Jennifer's voice is so powerful, so having her do more would be overdoing it, I think. The way they did it, it's like you just keep wanting to replay it to hear their respective contributions. I've already played this close to 100 times and haven't tired of it.

I remember when I first watched this with a few friends and was too blown away to pay much attention to anything else at the moment, when one of my friends commented at this very part about the way Jennifer Hudson singing, "Hey ! I know he will..." was almost as if she had gotten so carried away and forgot that they were singing about Santa Claus and went all "Church Mode," and was channeling singing about Jesus instead.
I didn't think much of the comment at the time, but later when I went to bed, I thought about it and burst out laughing and continued to do so for half an hour straight, till tears rolled down my face and my sides began to hurt.
