I have a friend who is a preservationist of TV media in Brazil. He works for a broadcasting company. In his personal archives he has old school commercials from the 90s, important and/or shocking events in history, I really admire his dedication. Media preservation in games is a must too 😊
Absolutely. Preservation everywhere and in every medium is critical. But it kind of gives me anxiety thinking about the volume of stuff that's out there that we need to preserve. It's absolutely staggering.
There's actually some solutions that I came across that I couldn't name specificallh for a variety of reasons in this video. I may pull up what I found in a follow up. It's interesting stuff.
