Its possible that Eddie and Samantha will come across the Victis Team at some point or maybe even Monty, given they were banished to the Dark Aether and Cold War Zombies is all about exploring and utilizing the power from it. I think it'd be cool to see a Finale part 2 at some point in the future.

We really need a sequel of Ghosts that ties into this somehow. I mean, if cards are played right, the story can remain the same
i bet you thats what the next cod will be. apparently the next one will be heavily connected to mw2022 so i kind of assume ghosts. plus the digital deluxe included all characters with ghost masks.
It all makes sense with how zombies would be in the same mw universe, as in the first map cutscene it shows how the Nazis explored the dark either but sealed their locations away until a hidden gov branch explored it, and most likely keeping the pubic in a low while their strike teams take care of the outbreaks

Only hint of treyarch in mw2022 is the treyarch logo in the game intro and the black ops aim assist option

so basically what he's saying is the new cod universe encompasses World at War, Black Ops 1 2 and cold war, and the New MW games and Vanguard. none of the other games events happened in this universe and only one version of the multiple choice stuff from BO2 and Cold war happened.

The modern warfare games are more or less what a realistic military is like, at least on its surfacs
I think the campaign characters being in the same universe was cool, but I feel zombies should be it's own thing.
If this is true, it completely ruins the MW story, since everything is going to worth sh1t in 2025 and all the events of BO4 and BO3
Since Cold War, BO2, 3 and 4 are not canon in this timeline

Technically, it’s the black ops campaign universe, not the modern warfare universe. They put mw19 into the already existing black ops storyline
Honestly for an experimental gamemode that was a complete accident it sure saved some people from seeing what the new CODs really are without it, although some of us were fortunate enough not to fall for it, R.I.P CoD.
