I love spreading new rock, that looked like a fun day!
That's how I spread gravel with my 574.
I highly recommend spinning the rod around for your loader control. It puts it closer to you and is easier to manipulate.
Boy, the mini-skid excelled at weaving between the posts to dump rock... a tractor would suck with that (the fine/detailed dumping). LOL Looking great Brock! Best, --J.Andre. / Old Iron Acres
In our area, I would have needed a blueprint, approval from the county for a building permit, then several levels of inspections as construction proceeded.
That is so foreign to me. If we want to build something, we just go outside and build it.
You are vert good with a bucket and fork lift. Guiding the posts into the holes with the forks look effortless.
You done a nice job Brock. And if you keep losing weight you going to wind up blowing away with a strong wind 😊
That was a good guess on the ammount of rock. I like having rock around the place to use
Looking good Brock. Last year I had a 3 sided woodshed put up. Pole barn construction, 12’ x 32’. I excavated a flat area much like you did using my jd2520. After the building was built I rocked the floor several inches deep with the 2520 and my neighbor’s jd garden tractor. 3 bays of equal size to hold 3 years worth of firewood 😊. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I saw where Lucas at Peak's Peak used "book shelf framing" for his mill shed. That seems like ti would work well for you and add stability.
Gravel looks good .
I catch EVERY SINGLE VIDEO but ya keep falling off of my algorithm brother! I have to search you out daily now! Best of luck to ya and I hope this is just an isolated problem and doesn’t have a negative impact on your buisness!
That is so weird. They’re supposed to show you what they think you will watch based on what you’ve been watching lately
Views are kind of down the last month.
@@RockhillfarmYT my views are down by almost half as well,,,,, I’m a tiny channel (preparedness based homesteading stuff) but I’ve noticed it too
Lookin' good Brah!
How do you keep the weeds from growing thru your gravel ? It's a problem we face here in Michigan.

Where was the foreman? He could have gotten more seat time. 😀
With that hill there your going to have some water and erosion.
Hey Brock - another great video. I recently bought a T574C too. I'm curious about what kind of tooth bar you added to your bucket. I like to get one like yours. Thanks!!

@@RockhillfarmYT Thanks for the link!! 👍
👀👀
The floor footprint looks like it's angled and perimeter around it too forcing water from the high side into your building. Is this an optical illusion?
Where'd you get the brush guard for your 574? And have you found a guard for the steering linkages?
Brock made a video about it 2 weeks ago.
I got it from the Tractor yard in the video is called top three new Tractor upgrades or something
As always, thanks for watching
@@RockhillfarmYT I had seen that video, forgot you got the brush guard there. I still want something to cover the steering rods and tie rod ends. The L4701HST has one from the factory.
We thought our new tractor had a hydrolic leak. Turned out to be AC water
Morning Brock , cowboy & everyone.
How much $ did it cost roughly for 3 loads of stone ?
Mornin'!
Why didn't you have the truck spread the rock for you in front of you soon to be wood shed then. Then, all you need to do is work it to desired thickness and elevation. I see people pile the material and then move it. That's just extra work when the truck driver can spread for you.
Two reasons, first he couldn’t dump there because of the slope. Not willing to lift the bed across the slope.
Second, I’ve done it both ways. I think it’s more work to put the rock where you want it because it’s just more difficult to spread. After I feathered this out with the bucket I was done.
@@RockhillfarmYT thanks for the reply. I didn't realize it was on a slope. I've been in situations where the gravel truck driver wasn't comfortable spreading so I understand.
Brock, your machine called me (social worker & life coach) and asked if I could convince you to please grease it? It seems that "Squeeky" isn't a nickname it wants to identify as? In today's world deciding who and what you are can be a complicated process?
Ok, enough of the BS. It seemed like your tractor was really dry and made a lot squeeks and groans when moving? Maybe there is a lot of rubber mounts on the cab or something and age is the only thing that will break it in? I'm just curious?
