I am curious if you can convert your business to an LLC from a Sole Proprietorship later down the line.

You can absolutley change from a sole proprietorship to an LLC. It isn't a conversion, but instead the sole proprietorship is shut down and an LLC is started.
You should work with an accountant in the process as there will have assets to sell in the sole proprietorship that the LLC purchases. Also, its usually best to do this at the end of a calendar year, so you don't have to file multiple tax returns.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    I have a situation
I work for amazon seller stores on behalf of my clients
Now i need a resale certificate of Florida state and my llc is based in Wyoming so definitely the address on my Florida state would be of Wyoming where my llc is situated. Now my supplier requires that i should obtain a Florida certificate having address of Florida warehouse. I have a warehouse in Florida but I don’t have llc in Florida. What should i do now? Is there any way to get this specific certificate ?
I appreciate your attention to this message

Hi Zehra - The complicating factor is because you have an out of state entity, but the solution is pretty easy.
Since your Wyoming LLC has a physical presence in Florida, you will register as a foreign entity with the state dos.myflorida.com/sunbiz/forms/corporations/.
Then register for a Florida Seller’s Permit and resale certificate.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!
