21:52 for instant laughs 🥰 Wishing you all a beautiful weekend ahead! Anyone have any exciting plans to share? Can't wait to see you all again here next week!! Love all-ways, Mr and Mrs A
I’m heading home to BC from Dawson, Yukon, after spending a few lovely weeks with my daughter, her fiancé, and my adorable one year old granddaughter. ❤️
Yes, but it's about $4k 1 way, and $2k more for the return should the borders not be open by then... also 10 days living in the cabin during the crossing
Canadian here as you two are aware. I wouldn't put hope that things will open up June 21. I would say maybe July or August! *fingers crossed* Most provinces are still very restricted, and COVID numbers are slowly coming down. Alberta where I am from is the first province that will be reducing restrictions later this month, so hopefully, that means the rest of Canada will slowly be opening up! I really hope it will work out for you both though and you guys can head up here eventually!
Fellow Canadian here. I am not expecting the Canadian border to open till September or later. The third wave has been taxing on health care and hospitals, we aren't even allowed to travel interprovincially in many places and there continue to be restrictions as well. We are hoping to RV south in the late fall this year so we are keeping our fingers crossed too.
The bike rack not swinging was our biggest nightmare too. Stop late and try to set up camp but you need to take everything out and apart.... 2 hours later 🤦🏻♀️
I loved staying at the Cracker Barrel’s when I was in Florida, they had spots for RVs but I was in my little Prius... and the minute I hit Alabama, the Cracker Barrels said no overnight parking.
One thing to keep in mind is that the backup camera is activated by the reverse gear and connected through the lights. If you have light issues you may have camera issues. I was told that we could and should be getting 1.5 let’s of olive oil in our diets a week. It’s soooooo good for you. Hope to see you come through BC soon. Fingers crossed. Cheers from Canader eh!
Gaahhhh! Haven’t even finished the video yet - popped right over here when you said Great Lakes! I am a public school teacher - just finished the hardest of my career. (I’m sure a lot of us can say that.) Without much planning (ended up in a hotel instead of a tent because there was NO camping available) I left the very next day after checking out for the summer, and headed to Michigan. I needed water therapy BAAAAAAD, but I only had a few days. Since I live in Iowa, I needed it to be close. Enter Lake Michigan! Despite its proximity, I’ve never spent much time around the Great Lakes. I mean - I visited superior many times but only as a stopover to and from other trips - never as a destination. This time it was my purpose, and I felt healed a little by those saltless, sharkless, COOOLD waters and uncrowded beaches. If you can’t do Alaska, I hereby give my encouragement to see the Great Lakes. Oofda...❤️
It's nice y'all were able to go and taste wine. I love me some wine lol. Another cool thing was the motorbike you guys have on the back of Spirit is the exact same bike my brother has but just a smaller version of it so I thought that was pretty dope. I'm enjoying the video so far.
We love Harvest Host, a safe and beautiful stay. One of our faves was an alpaca farm, one was even a cannabis farm that ended up showcasing the milky-way that night.
Pizza Night!!! The pizza looked so yummy 🍕. It’s winter here in Western Australia 🇦🇺 after a warm autumn, so I’m finally wearing my pizza night 3/4 sleeve tops and they’re so soft and comfortable ☺️. Loved the winery stay, what a great idea Harvest Host is. Drew and his Dad are like two peas in a pod lol - like Father like Son ☺️ Another great video, love you guys ☺️
Yep, we love Harvest Hosts! It’s really nice that many more pop up every month too. I’m 🤞🏼for me to travel to Germany, finally, to see my kids and grand babies, and for you guys to travel to Alaska!
Heading to the ICHETUCKNEE SPRINGS CAMPGROUND in a couple of weeks with my 16’ Casita thanks to you guys! Meeting a friend there to spend my 1st nights in Florida. Happy travels and thank you. May the road open up to meet you. ❤️❤️
You are going to love it! Bring bikes so you can ride to the North entrance early in the morning or at sunset, you'll have the place to yourselves, especially if it's a week day. Enjoy xx!
I hope you are able to get to Alaska this year. I live in the Yukon Territory. You will pass through my hometown Whitehorse on your way to Alaska. Sending good vibes and happiness and some good deep breathing that all will work out as it is supposed to. Just remember everything happens for a reason! ❤️❤️🏔🏕🌱
I’m surprised Drew didn’t go for ebike such as Sur Ron from Luna Cycles it looks similar to your motorbike not sure what the mileage range would be but with your van set up you would have no problem charging the bikes battery.
Great video as always.. so many blessings regardless of situations. Try being in Ontario where we have had stay at home orders since April. That may be lifted in a few weeks and only then moved into Stage one which will open up patio dining... We have not been able to travel for 18 months and currently cannot even overnight camp. If you do end up in Portugal, reach out. We just spent 2 years in Portugal until last year in March. I can definitely suggest a few villages etc.... Be blessed..
We look forward to you having the ability to travel and move around freely again. Portugal is a wonderful. We were able to spend 3 months there back in 2018 in our previous van 💚
Thinking of you and praying for the safe and efficient reopening of your homeland 🙏 And yes, we would love to know if you suggest any specific villages in Portugal. We love everywhere along the coast, we need warm weather and to be able to see the edge 😊❤️ Sending you love and strength
Brittany & Drew, always a pleasure to see your post(when they first come out.) from both Nashville with all the birds, (small street, there really alley now, named after a family member) and the disco was fun! PS enjoy your church too! And more posts please! ✌️🙏❤️
Keeping my fingers crossed for you that Canada will open. I’ve made other plans for this summer and will hope for BC for next year!! Cool view of the Harvest Host site. Thanks for sharing!
Canada is opening up the borders on june21,2021, to all people, right now, before the opening, you must have your shot and proof, 3 negitive tests, and no temp. and if you leave Canada before the opening date, you will quarntine for 3 days at a medical office ,cost 125.00 day. that;s 375.00 per person, per day. got info from friend of mine on the Blaine, Washington border crossing.
I have the same rack. You only need the two tie downs. They pull the bike back and down. The wheels will not jump out of the tracks. I had a "Z" fitting made to raise the carrier up for clearance. Have you thought of putting a front hitch on? You could carry the bike on the front.
Getting to watch a new video from you two on my birthday is such a sweet gift. Now I'm going to get out on my own adventure! P.s. the Britney gets to play dance party was sooo perfect. More dance parties please 😃❤💃🏽
Thank you for sharing some amazing videos!- the scenery was gorgeous in the National Parks out west!! Yes, come to Michigan so much beauty! Thanks again!
I remember reading last year that Americans on their way to Alaska can cross the border. It may have changed, but worth a look. I think you were allowed 3 days and you had to stay on a prescribed route.
Brittany, we feel your pain, we have been wanting to go to Vancouver to visit some family but with the Canadian border shut down it's almost impossible for Americans to enter Canada, so instead of doing a road trip this year we decided to stay on our sailboat this year. We live aboard our a Privilege 615 catamaran, it's 65 feet long, we use Key West as our home base, but we do sail often up and down the Florida coastlines, plus we sail to the Bahamas quite often, presently we are at The Dry Tortugas visiting Fort Jefferson....
Bummer about Canada. I knew it was still closed, but not for how long. But, things seem to be going well there, so maybe sometime later this month, they'll open up. Who knows? Happy travels.
I really hope you get to Alaska this year..... I literally discovered you when looking up videos for my Big American road trip we were meant to go on exactly a year ago today for our 50th birthdays from the UK. The Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon were what hooked me. And Now Thursday afternoon is Mr and Mrs Adventure day 😀 I’m really hoping to have my big adventure next year for my 52nd year instead if things open up. This weekend instead we are going to Dover in the UK which I’ve never been to but looked so nice in you video from your European adventure. Finger and toes crossed for you xxxx
Travel thru Canada is so limited. Alaska would love to have you! If you can make it up there, I will offer you some neat trips to do. Your own van is the best way to go!. Hope you make it!
Definitely need to look into driving straight through. Friend of mine left Alaska in her RV, while the border was 'closed' at the beginning of this year. Dont give up!!
While driving straight through BC may be possible, you’d miss so much amazing scenery. Might be more fun to wait until you can come, take your time and really explore our whole gorgeous province.
Hi guys, I live in BC and the news we are hearing about the border opening is not looking good, but you never know it could change. We have just started having some of our restrictions lifted, we have not even been allowed to travel in our province, we are having to stay in our local communities. But hopefully things will start to open up. 🙂
We were also planning on Alaska last year...and did a ton of beautiful National Parks instead. Don't know if we want to join the surge to Alaska when the border initially opens or not.....
Would love to see a tour of the Roadtrek. Have you done one? I have a '97, 170 Popular and will be hitting the road as soon as I have a bit of work done on it (haven't named it yet). Always looking for any improvement I can make. Love you two and seeing your adventures. Ride on!
Just found y’all channel! Love it! We are in south Louisiana and have a coachman beyond . Y’all are always welcome to stay on our driveway. Lots of delicious seafood down here in Houma Louisiana. .
What area are you heading to Alaska. sounds like it won't be crossing the NW area up into Canada/Alaska..hard to say when those borders open up..Keep your fingers crossed.
I know that Canada is closed, but I think it will open soon with some restrictions. Check out the restrictions before you try to cross. Good luck. I hope it opens up soon.
Love your videos. Have you considered taking the Alaska State Ferry to Alaska from Bellingham, WA? If it’s running it might be an option. Have fun and travel safe!!
We live in Ontario and we had a stay at home order until June 2nd. We still can’t buy nonessential items, eat in restaurants or have company inside our house. I don’t see Canada opening our boarders in June. I would make other plans. Sorry.
Can you show me exactly how you rigged up your swing? I looked at your old video, but it just mentions it in passing. I'm really curious, how to got that so sturdy.
Oh my goodness, I sold my home of 31 years in Sonoma. Now I find myself right outside of Nashville in Franklin renting a condo through September if I can emotionally make it that long. I'm so homesick for a friend and some familiar looking landscape. How did I do this? I see you guys are in the same boat wondering what to do next? I need to learn how to stop feeling sorry for myself being alone!
@@Mrandmrsadventure You will probably have to cross at the Washington/BC border, hopefully you can get a definitive answer by calling Canadian Border Services, Good Luck!

Hello, You are welcome to visit, Montreal Quebec, anytime you want. It is a beautiful city and also the old Montreal is just amazing. Mount Royal is a large intrusive rock hill or small mountain in the city of Montreal, immediately west of Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The City of Montreal takes its name from Mount Royal. Montreal is the second-most populous city in Canada and most populous city in the Canadian province of Quebec. Founded in 1642 as Ville-Marie, or "City of Mary", it is named after Mount Royal, the triple-peaked hill in the heart of the city. SO, are comming?

As always. Nice vlog.
I keep wondering why you didn't fill the water tank after dinner was done... did I miss something? ❤
