Literally LOL’d at the ‘every kid can sleep if you have a routine’ comment! Haha, oh gosh if only that were true! 🤣👍 our little boy had terrible colic until about 7 months and looooved a cluster feed so... yeah... routine did nothing for us for over half a year, despite our best efforts!

It really depends on the kid. Some are good sleepers, others not so much. My ten month old is a true sleepyhead. What are some of the things you've tried? Does she fall asleep on your chest? If so give her something that smells like you.

Re:baby sleep. All credit to you for having a good sleeper with olive but please try to be mindful of those that haven’t been so lucky by making these general statements. My sons lack of sleep was a huge contributor to me developing post natal anxiety and my inability to get him to sleep left me feeling completely inadequate as a mother several times a day. We were consistent with our routine from the start and hired sleep consultants with no success. For someone like me when I hear someone attributing having a good sleeper to a schedule rather than luck it reminds me of how much of a failure I am since I couldn’t do it. I hope for your sake that you’re just as lucky second time around as you were with olive.
