It really depends on your console and the game you’re playing, i play cold war on xbox one, and none of this worked, but it could work with older games such as BO4 for example.

Sadly they didn’t optimize the game for older gen, even tho the Xbox One X is very powerful.
The game is only optimized for Series S and Series X, the developers these days are lazy and only care about money 💰

@@lifeartstudios6207 The Xbox Series X is really smooth, and it runs (way) better then the Xbox one X. The SSD in the Series X is a huge difference. Honestly you should give it a try. I’m sure it i’ll look good on your 8K tv. Talking from personal experience.

I don't even have the same settings as you lol Mine says power options and it doesn't give me the option to change power mode to instant on, but it has sleep mode which has the same affect hahah weird lol. Sleeps instead of shutting down, console uses more power, supports waking the console remotely and starts up faster?
Same here on my Xbox One. It used to have instant on. But A while back I switched to energy save mode. Then it is funny now lol...

My hard drive is 45%, but the utube vids I watch lag then split 50/50 top and bottom. The screen and display the same top and bottom, but the top stays frozen, and the bottom half carries on as per normal. Anyone had this before

If you were to move data from the Xbox into the external, yes it would work better, something I would recommend is putting screenshots and videos to the external drive, then put game data onto the drive, and eventually maybe put games on the drive as well, it’s best to do it this way cause (in a very rare case) the drive could wipe everything without you event knowing
