Wow! That was rough. I really feel for you. That last guy was so agressive even though he was in another class, its usually best to be very carefull around those and go about them as if they are out to kill you. I hae had the same issue in my quest 2. Please keep us updated on the issue. Keep on racing, love your stuff!
This is the same shit that's happened to me over this qeek, its always Redbull Ring haha. I went fro. 4.5 A class straight down to 1.2 B class from other people's bad driving.
I wish more people followed the advice at 3:50. Amount of times I've caught up rapidly, and then the dude fights with stupid defending and overly aggressive shut offs. Slowing us both down for no reason. If someone closes seconds in a few laps and ends up on my arse and i ain't being slowed by traffic, just lift into a braking zone and let em by, and enjoy the slipstream whilst I'm still close enough to have it
Hi. Hope you are doing well. Are you running 120hz now on your Quest 2, and if so, did you notice any latency improvements? I've also experienced some headset tracking issues the last few months. Really frustrating. Did you find a solution to the problem?
I did try 120hz - to be honest, I think with the main time taking to encode and compress the video / decode on the other side in the headset - the latency didn't improve as much as I expected. I tend to still run it at 90 as my PC can maintain 90 FPS more constantly. Dropped frames / stuttering tend to put me off more.
Enjoyed the come back until the crash. I race ACC so unfamiliar with I racing - so I’m curious - is there a mechanism to complain to stewards for the lap 1 incident and the final crash as seems to me they were at fault and should receive a penalty
You can report a driver and it does get reviewed. I think the t1 incident was a bit of a racing incident - I should've given space - I didn't realise but Pascal is like 8k iRating and insanely fast (he probably just had a bad quali and wanted to ensure he didn't get stuck behind me). I think the guy at the end, I should've really considered the fact he pushed wide and needed to pull back onto the track again - I stayed on my line to try not to lose time, but if I'd given a bit more space or held back I would have ended up a lot better off. I think this is a lesson I need to learn - I tend to do very well or DNF. Would be nice to be content with a 'solid finish' even if it's not at the top.
hey paul, i was curious if you could help me out, as i can find no help online. The rear view screen in my GT3 Ferrari is always off! is there a toggle or setting you know about? know you dont typically race them but hope you know! Cheers
As Mackie replied - check how many mirrors you have on in your graphics settings (needs 3 for rear view) - or there's in game black box settings to adjust the mirrors.
My SR has gone from 3.4 to 1.3 this week, and I have raced clean and conservative. IR has tanked as a result. RBR is a savage track for being wiped out similar to Suzuka 🤷♂️
The off tracks here are brutal. I feel this video 😂

Great video mate!

I'm glad my SR didn't drop that badly! but it was pretty bad.
Great Video! Keep it up
Thanks!

What an unfortunate race, couldn't catch a break.
Good comeback! 🏁🏎️🔥

It counts as a mirror so check the setting for number of mirrors in your graphics settings.

Yup, I know that feeling. SR plummetted and iRacing dropped about 200-300 too due to DNF :(
