We are out again and will walk all day around Kuala lumpur KLCC Malaysia. We will see the famous Petronas twin tower, KLCC park and the Suria KLCC shopping mall. We will also eat at a night market just nearby.

This must be taken during a major public holiday because I see a large number of foreign workers from South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan) milling around in and around KLCC.

Would you sugggest to stay in KLCC or Bukit Bintang for first time travelers from Australia to KL?

We personnally like both location.
KLCC is great for shopping malls and park. There are many tourists and expat in this area.
Bukit Bintang is little same many shopping mall. It's also nice to walk. (Can be crowded sometimes). There are locals, tourists ans expat in tjis area.
It depends on what you prefer but these two locations are not very far from each other with the transportation. It's even walkable around 20min.
We chose to stay around Bukit Bintang and loved the vibe.here. Hope it helped ;)
