Hello there.... I'm a Khasi guy from Northeastern India. I believe we're your descendents. Most of your dialect are similar to ours. I hope you visit Meghalaya someday and visit us.
Be strong stand up for your rights don’t lost your land as the same as our Montagnards indigenous people in Central highland , everything controlled by viet cong .
@darth we ain't no Cambodians were khasi blood.. and khasi & jaintia hills are our ancestral territories.. if you want to talked bout history then we all came from Africa ( Full-stop)..
United together as “one” live together in harmony, you’re all might be a separate ethnic groups but assimilation with the mainstream is the way to share cultures. However,in order for all of these to work, the so-called “government”needs to have plans. These people deserve equal rights, they have been violated. May god bless all of those people and help protect them....
Sadly, indigenous people have all the right to own lands and make a living for their families like any other family. The government needs to follow a role model to help and support all types of people going through hard times.

The correct terminology is tribal people of Cambodia, not Indigenous. They are no indigenous than Khmers. Indigenous is a term use by Europeans to refer people look and have tribal lifestyle. Cambodians who speak English should use tribal people, not indigenous.
First I listened to this, i thought this ethnic group is in Rattanakiri, but I know it's in Stung Treng since I heard a man said a commune called Kbal Romeas. I am sorry to hear this long term issue which come from development project and it caused so much changes on their traditional lifestyle.
What do you mean "no"? Do you not know who these minority groups are in cambodia? If youre going to be ignorant and stupid, you may want to keep your absolutely useless comment to yourself. Thank you

They are indigenous tribe 😂, just no state. Khmers just develop more and made a state but before that all ethnicity existed together.
