😀 It's our favourite time of the week - it's Casual Fun Friday! My channel host's this fun weekly doll theme in the adult doll collecting hobby. Every week I try to do different fun activities to keep the theme day fun and fresh! Plus, you will always see my dolls dressed in their casual clothes.
Participating in Casual Fun Friday is easy and fun. EVERYONE is welcome to participate with whatever dolls YOU enjoy collecting. Dress your dolls up in anything you interpret as casual, fun, or both and share your beautiful creations with our community! Most importantly have lots of fun because that's what we do every Friday - we keep things casual and fun!

OH YES! My sister had this doll Dancella and got her for Christmas when she first came out in 1971!!!! She still works and we played with her constnatly adn she never broke-nher hari is still in the orignal bun, too! I have one now but when I was a little girl I would share my sister's Dancerella! She originally came out in 1968 with blonde hair and her name was 'Dancerina' but I like the brunette Dancerella better- even though she had the same face and tutu outfit!!! LOVE this, Kitty! Beautiful ballerina doll from your childhood. I wasn't into dolls that did anything... yet my mom kept buying them because that's what SHE wanted as a child...lol I just wanted a baby doll to look real and hold. I did get a Thumbelina which I LOVED, she looked so real to me!! The string broke that made her wiggle but I didn't care, I even tried to hide that from my mom. Once she found out she returned it, we came from a small town and there were no other ones, I was very upset. I moved on to Barbies from there.

Loved your story from childhood 😀❤️ The space in my parents attic is a hazard 🤣 which is why I have been pulling bits a pieces out during separate visits. I found some Strawberry Shortcake dolls earlier this year and I'm still in the hunt for the rest 😀

Oh, I remember this doll. My older sister had this doll, and when she didn't play with it, I asked if I could have it, so she cut all or her hair off. I still played with her and loved her for a long time. 🩷

We do not have a “cute” baby boutique in our town- Id have to drive almost an hour to find a specialty shop. That floral romper is gorgeous. Thank you so much 😀❤️ I am a second generation doll collector, my Mum collects also, so she understands the importance of keeping all our old collectable stuff. About 30 years ago I moved across the other side of Australia for 3 years so my parents kept a lot of my childhood stuff. I was supposed to take it off their hands when I returned to my home town about 25 years ago to get married but then my husband and I did quite a lot of travelling before settling down to raise a family. During that period I stopped collecting dolls so we all just forgot about what was in storage. Late last I started going through some stuff and uncovered my old Baby Alive Dolls, Matilda Doll and some Strawberry Shortcake dolls which I have featured on my channel. I hope to find more stuff soon 😀 Have a blessed day xx
