Agree. Imagine having to give a speech like this, now. His half-brother was heir presumptive, so it’s possible that he was taken by surprise when he was appointed. It was a prepared speech, but he spoke from the heart.

@@pennyvdl Empathy is whats lacking. When we empathize we will be able to understand that King Misizulu is going through his own stuff because before his King, his human. He just lost both his parents so suddenly, there is so much division in the monarchy, then he has to deal with his people who seem to be rebelling at the moment. For anyone this is too much. So when he comes forward, he needs to come to an audience that will encourage him, and support him not a people that only wants to see how well can he speak or read the Zulu language. Can he make a prepared speech ensuring he keeps eye contact etc? Is he using cue cards or reading the whole thing. Its sad.

They keep saying they are hungry but there are kids in Africa and all over the world who are skin and bones with swollen bellies starving to death funny enough the people saying they are hungry look perfectly healthy and abled bodied they're just dam lazy if you want something bad enough nothing will stand in your way not even the effects of apartheid people are always looking for excuses because they can't face the fact that they are the ones responsible for their situations if you are truly unhappy living your life the way it is you will strive to change it and achieve your dreams no matter what!

History is needed to contextualise the plight of South Africa. It is a country that only knows its resolve through violence because of history. Therefore the bubble of violence is always beneath the surface especially when it comes to political issues which cost the people of South Africa and they feel they have no other recourse but to be violent to be heard. Is it right? No ofcourse not but it explains the complexity to that is South Africa.

I am proud to be part of a nation that has a beautiful history of the Zulu kingdom. King Misizulu Zulu, thankyou for speaking to our nation. Thankyou for carrying the kingdom name high amidst the year that has been tough on the Zulu nation with the passing of the late King Zwelinthini and Queen mother. The Zulu kingdom is one to be revered, respected and praised. God bless this beautiful kingdom and may all people listen to these words spoken.

There are still good people in the Zulu nation. They are misguided by political lies and false promises.
