Hi Barry, Malleys Whirlpool were my favorite washing machines. My aunt used to have the 1892 model, if you remember they were the ones with the blue facia (2 speed 4 Cycle) Im interested to see how the heater works and the suds saving works on this model. Are you able to upload more videos? cheers
I can see what I can do, I have one with a blue facia too, the heater is a little hard to show it can take about 2 hours to get up to temperature from cold however I can try hook it up to hot water to show operating with the heat
That cant be a pure parts Whirlpool. The real deal ? A true belt drive Whirlpool and Kenmore back in the day made the woo-woo-woo-woo sound. Even going into drain was not the sound i ever heard before. Just what is that imposter?
It's nice to see Whirlpool top loaders were also popular outside of the U.S.
Surprising to see a Whirlpool washer with an extended top panel like a Speed Queen.
the grinding noise is the pump.. it still works. when the new pump arrives i will change them out.
This thing sounds so smooth…
My childhood Whirlpool lasted over 40 years.

@@btecpostmaster other cycles of your 1896 model will be great to see too
It's kinda oddity why Australia Whirlpool washers belt-drive looks like a Kenmore because of the door.
And that's okay. I like them that way too.
Whirlpool made, Kenmore appliances
Makes me wanna go do a load of laundry.
What year is your Whirlpool washer?
Got any machines for sale?
Do you mean 1986 not 1896
