    So far, I tend to make these beeper delete mods during autistic meltdowns, and with much more violence. lol

      Hahaha, I can definitely understand that.. I hate them so much! I just always plan to remove them any time I get a new fan😂

    If still want beep from the Piezo Buzzer you can muffle the volume by placing electrical tape over the hole.
    For bright LED lights on an appliance you can purchase precut tint film placing it over the light to reduce or eliminate the light

    • @TheRussReviews
      @TheRussReviews  9 дней назад

      Thank you for that, does covering the hole completely get rid of the sound? And same question for the LED’s?

      @@TheRussReviews I wonder if you could solder a resister in parallel to attenuate it.

      @@Vsor that may have to be something I try next time 🤔

    A tip - One of my beeping things, I needed the beeps. I just didn't need to be able to hear the beeps further than a foot or so.
    If you need the beeps a little, instead of removing the whole thing, nibble the top off. This reduces how well the piezo disc is held, and DRAMATICALLY reduces it's volume without silencing it entirely. Good for computer devices that may give needed info via beeping.

      Ahank you very much for the tip, I will keep this in mind for ruture mods! Also I now know what the "horn" is actually called haha. so thank you for that as well!

    Good one Russ, I was doing same stuff since I was a kid - back then it was tape the light and break the "horn", just kill it LOL. Good to know for this and other appliances.

    Yep and not only that but they are annoyingly loud too for amount of airflow, just took an old pc fan and wired 5v usb cable to it, it blows about the same but I don't hear it whatsoever.

    Why am I watching a video of you watching your own video with unnecessary added commentary? 🫥

    • @TheRussReviews
      @TheRussReviews  6 дней назад

      Part of me has been asking myself the same question to be completely honest, I recorded it wondering if anyone could relate.. but really didn’t expect the video to perform all that well.. but to my surprise it’s doing okay, I do a lot of DIY stuff so I figured why not record it and upload 🤷🏻‍♂️
