  • In this video, we discuss IRCC's allocation of study permits for Canadian provinces in 2024. Following a cap implementation on the processing of study permit applications, each province's allocation was determined based on its population. However, adjustments were made to ensure fairness across the board, with some provinces receiving top-ups to meet expected approval rates. From Ontario's significant allocation to the nuanced adjustments made for provinces like Alberta and Nova Scotia, join us as we explore the intricacies of Canada's study permit allocation system for international students in 2024.

    Sir, will these caps impact someone who is applying for study permit inside Canada after completing a pre-requisite course as a visitor, cuz such applicants don’t need PAL for application.

    Hi Kubeir, happy Tuesday! I recently applied for a study permit extension and have changed my program of study within the same DLI. Do I need to inform IRCC about this change while my application is being processed?
    Thank you once again! I appreciate the content you put out there!

      @AskKubeir  2 месяца назад +1

      No. If the DLI is the same, then nothing needs to be done
