The phone in the video is a Samsung Galaxy 10, but I usually just start XCSoar when I arrive at the field and leave it in my pocket. It 'knows' when you takeoff, and can record multiple flights as separate .igc files. For actual use for naviation in Flight, I have a Galaxy Tab PDA, very bright screen, no problem running XCSoar and can support hookup to air data from the Glider. Hope this helps!
@@jmurtari thanks a lot. I will look for a galaxy tab. I have a galaxy s7 edge but i would like to have a bigger screen, like 7 inch i think. Have a nice day🙂
Very helpful video, I've been trying to figure XCSoar out for a while! The first time you said "v for menu" I lost it 🤣🤣🤣
Actually, the gesture is just down then up. There is also a "P" that will change the screen to pan the screen.
Thx for the short introduction :)
You don't push, you "TAP" hehehe

Does it automatically recalculate AAT tasks ?
I don't know, it probably does, but you'd have to check their website...
