What a swimming hole!! And atmospheric restaurant.The park and cathedral are impressive during the day as well :) Beautiful.
This is one of the best swims we’ve ever had, as it’s incredible to be in such a scenic oasis right in the heart of the downtown core:) We’re you’re down in the cenote, it feels like you could be in the middle of the jungle!
And yes, the park with its view of the cathedral is an incredible central place to spend some time checking out all the action in the city!

Isn’t that something? They were putting it up for a religious ceremony the next day, which we happened to see, and it made for a lovely setting:)
