    Hi Dheeraj..
    Can you suggest me one thing..
    Well, my friends want to take a bus from Srinagar to Kargil. Then next day they want to explore kargil city and war memorial and after that on coming morning they are planning to take another bus to leh from kargil..
    Is it a good idea??
    Is there any bike rentals in Kargil??
    what do you suggest?

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  3 года назад

      Brother, yes, it will be fine where in from Kargil they can take the taxi to explore around Kargil and then next morning take the bus to Leh. I have not heard much about any bike rentals in Kargil. So, best will be to take a taxi for day local sightseeing.

    Is 500cc really at advantage than a 350? How much if it could be qualified?

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  2 года назад +1

      Not really, 350 is powered enough to do any stretch up there

    hi Dheeraj.. i just want a expert advice from you.. Is it advisable to take my VITARA BREZZA Diesel AMT.... (I Repeat AMT) to SPITI VALLEY & LEH LADHAK.??? What are the challenges i can face..... Waise I have done Leh Ladhak in 2014 in Scorpio...

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  3 года назад +1

      Ashish bhai, well, I have been part of the groups where we have taken AMT vehicles without any major issues. They did struggle at certain sections but were able to do most of the tough and remote roads at the end of the trips... so, I will say it shall not be an issue as long as you stick to the limits of it

      Thank you so much for your prompt reply. In 2014 also we (me & my friend) completed our trip to Leh Ladhak with your guidance & expert advice. Thanks again.

      If you plan to watch some snow, then early season like middle of May (if Kunzum opens) to end of June shall be a good time else you can plan in month of September to middle of October for vivid colors

    If I enter kaza >Gramphu >Kelong >TsoMariri>Henley >Spangmik( pangang lake >leh then where from l coletct the inner line permit? and where I get petrol after Tandi?
    One more thing.....
    I want to travel kargil to zanskar and zangla palace. Where I can get petrol pumps in

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  3 года назад +1

      You need to arrange for permit in advance by paying some travel agent. He will send you scanned copy and you can make further copies for submission. You need to send scanned copy of your documents to the travel agent.
      Regarding petrol, you can only arrange it in black from the local villages of Hanle, Nyoma, Pang, Korzok. Or you can take the Tso Moriri route via Upshi and go little ahead to Karu petrol pump to get the petrol

      Is it sure that I will have petrol in Pang and Hanle? Or I have to carry jaricans of petrol from Tandi petrol pump ? Is plastic jaricans available in Tandi petrol pumps or I have to buy it from kolkata?
      I also want to travel kargil to zanskar. Where I get petrol in this route?
      Many Many thanks.

      1. You need photo id nationality proof for inner line permits
      2. Gurmat Namgial +91 94199 80089
      3. There is of course no guarantee but mostly people get it. Best is to carry spare fuel always and check my video on how to safely carry fuel on bike: Q87. How to safely carry luggage or extra fuel on Spiti or Ladakh Bike Ride? [10 Safety Tips] ruclips.net/video/3fZvaePVazg/видео.html
      4. For Zanskar fill at Kargil and then at Padum
