Katrina! I love watching and learning from you so much. Today though was my favorite! You kept it real. There are days when I am literally in pj's working in the craft room. There are days when what can go wrong does, and I think WTH! To see that even you can make a silly mistake gives me the confidence to get up and give another go! (FYI I graduated high school, the year you were born..lol)
Yes most days im pj's or sweats when im not filming. I hate having to always get dressed...lol. But wow graduated the year I was born....Go Bless. Thanks for watching. Our mistakes make us better
Ok first off…love the pj’s. My son bought me a similar pair with pockets as well. My Mother in law would have approved lol. But i really didn’t need to watch your video and get another idea in my head of things to do LOL You are so talented and I hope your store does great. I am visually impaired and I have my Cricut maker/ sublimation printer and I am trying my best on projects. I don’t think the items i do are perfect, but my family and friends are appreciative and they all try to boost me up. Again, you are super talented. Good luck on all and I will continue to watch you and curse you for giving me new ideas LOL
Thank you so much and don’t doubt yourself. If you are 100% satisfied with your designs then keep practicing and getting inspiration for others and make it your own. You got this!
Have you tried applique using fabric cut out from a machine? I did it using my silhouette and was so much easier than cutting out after the tack down. For the wrong year, you can seam rip that and change the year, I've had to do that before
Use tender touch on the inside. That way it will hold your hoodie together better. It will work like a patch you would use holes in jeans and things like that.
I have another brand cloud backing I showed it in other videos. It was just for me and a demo so I didn’t use it since I got the year wrong. But thanks I always do on the inside
Looks beautiful! A technique I will have to try one day when I start embroidering. I definitely would be ripping out the year and doing it over cause it would make me nuts. 😂😂😂😂😂 I love the name on the sleeve too! So cool❤❤❤❤Thank you for sharing. I think we all do PJ’s at home lol Comfy is awesome 😁
My suggestion for the name on the sleeve is to not use tearaway. Use a no show stabslizer. Don’t use a water soluble topper. In your digitizing software. Add more pull compensation to your fonts and take off under sewing. You will get a fuller better results without letters being slightly crooked. I would be than happy to digitize it and email it to you so you can visualize the difference
UNder Sewing....you speaking foreign now...lol. But thiswasa test and every time I do it for someone the name will change. I think I cut out the part in the video where I said you should use water soluble...I was trying to make the video as short as possible.
I love the different techniques you do❤ Did you have any problems getting that sub ink off the heating pad after you had tacked the sticky paper to the material?
You could put an applique banner over the mistake and then add the year. It's really cute! Working in PJ's is the best!
What a fabulous idea to sublimate on fabric, then applique it to cotton! Thank you 🙂
You are so welcome! 🙏🏽
I like the way you think! Very creative idea. I do photography and I have so many ideas now… thanks
We think alike! I sublimated my appliqués also. ❤

Heeeyyyy!!! Fellow 1980 baby here!
Yay! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Also I would advise a brother scan n cut dx325. It’s eliminates using scissors. It’s the perfect cutting machine for appliqué. Must have
I have enough cutting machines
@@Linneydenise that cut feature you mentioned is very interesting. I had not heard of it before. I’ve seen precutting but not post-cutting. 🤔

Yes I’m about to do that next instead of hand cutting them
OMG! That is beautiful! ❤ it
Fantastic!
thank you

This came out so nice.
Thank you so much 😊
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 You're welcome. ❤️
I’m feeling the content
Such a cool technique…Give the hoodie to your mom ❤
My mother doesn't wear hoodies...lol. But definitely a great idea
Hey Katrina, thanks for the video. As always, you nailed it! Question: is your fabric see-through? I have some 100% poly, and it's see-through.

I work much better when I’m comfortable. I don’t sleep in them might as well work in them. Lol. Thanks for watching.
Love it. It turned out great.
Thank you

Hey Queen. Very nice , I love the Sublimation idea. You can unpick the date and redo it.
Too many threads. Lol. And I cut it so not really worth it. I will do it over bigger and better. Thanks. I have a seam ripper but it takes forever
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 I totally understand Queen. It was still nice. TFS
@@UNBIASEDLLC thank you
Good video thanks looks good it happens ❤
Yes it does! 🙏🏽
So nice
Thank you

There is no ink on the heating pad. Not sure what you’re referring to
I would love to make something like this for my wife, do you have a video on digitizing?
No I don’t really digitize so I don’t teach it
LOVE IT 🙌🏽🙌🏽
I use my cutting machine, Brother, to cut my applique so that it takes less time and I don't risk cutting fabric
Yeah I’m gonna start doing that for sure
For the paper it has to be butcher paper or can I use parchment paper ? I love your videos , they inspire me to learn something new ❤
You can use either or and thank you
Hello
hello
Give that one to your mom
She doesn’t wear hoodies
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 ok lol
