I don't know where the plot of your movies are set, but if it's Africa, I suggest you guys keep your true African accent and way of speaking so when you guys are announced to the world, your originality and origin will not be lost and debated.
If you watch Hollywood they always project only Southern African accent when portraying African movies like ficticious Zamunda (Coming to America) and Wakanda (Black Pantha).
