People need to learn to lean. You can see they are hitting the corners a bit too fast but still doable. But they start to panic and zone in on the wrong sides of the road. The first crash he didn't even try turn harder or lean he just panicked and drove straight.
Hidari Shoutaro: counter steering is how you make the bike lean, and thus turn. Personally I find it easier to not think about counter steering and just do it, when I make a point of doing it on purpose, my body doesn't keep up, so my body position suffers. Or in other words: If I just push the handlebar, the bike starts leaning, but my body doesn't, if I start by moving my body, the bike follows(I'm still pushing the handlebar, however that's not all I'm doing).
@RandomShart I generally prepare by scooting over to one cheek and leaning my head out near the inside mirror. Then I focus on seeing what's in the corner, how the road condition looks, if there's debris, etc, and if it's tightening or widening, and finding the apex.
Guess what, no one starts out with great experience and wisdom, and some people have worse judgement, worse reflexes, etc. people will learn at their own paces. Some will gain experience by never seeing the underside of their vehicles, some won't be as fortunate. Why judge anyone based on your own standards and abilities? Growing up I didn't have money to buy anything other than 50cc bikes, than 400cc, 600cc, 1000cc Yamaha fz-10 so I gradually learned, but others might have money to start with 600 or up, not the same to learn on at all. Either way, some of us are clumsy and careless by nature, some are thoughtful and precise. I'm the second of course :)

2:47 is showing that the 70 limit was only for a turn, so the actual speed limit had to be 90-100 at least. A speed limit ending doesn't mean that a lower speed limit is ahead. You should only turn onto a road if you can reach the speed limit of that section without interrupting others. Others can be patient and nice enough to gently touch the brake for you but they don't even have to do that, just hunk the horn. Car is certainly at fault. Had it been a larger vehicle that can't slow in time, that car driver's head would be mashed potatoes.
It's amazing the amount of people who just ride straight off the road. 🤦 Remember, if nothings dragging the floor, you can lean over more. And if you still crash at least you're most of the way down already. 👍
it amazes me how few riders are wearing any protective gear. also, most of these crashes were VERY avoidable.. a little skill and experience and get the attitude that "I am the greatest rider that has ever lived" out of your head.

These guys really dont understand the dynamics of motorcycles. If you're heavy into a corner and you throttle it too much or apply too much rear brake, the back wheels will skip or spin and the bike will go sideways. Insane how many riders make the same amateur mistake.
Kurgan100 Steady, or very easy throttle changes, feathering the front brake only if you have to brake, and preferably entering the corner at an appropriate speed, with a touch of trail braking.
Jason: actually you trail brake with the front brake, otherwise you lose traction on the rear wheel. Because when you're braking, the weight of the bike shifts forward, this puts more load on the front tire and less on the rear tire, and tires have more traction under load, so if you use the rear brake while cornering, you've lost quite a lot of your rear traction and you're likely to skid out, and very possibly highside, which is worse than losing front tire traction and low siding.
You are right about the meaning of the sign, nevertheless that is still speeding. Furthermore he was approaching an intersection, he was supposed to slow down not accelerate as you see him doing.

Not leaning enough was the case in a few of them, the corner wipeouts were due to other causes, mostly braking or poor throttle control, one or two may have been due to slippery road surface(0:50, 5:55)
What they need to learn first is responsibility, they act as if everybody is at fault while they are making the mistakes. Slow the fuck down if you are still learning, learn to handle a bike the right way before you show off to your friends. Most should never be on a bike until they are more mature.

I love the steet bikers taking it off-road on the twisties. The low-side front brake grab slides are fun too! First rule of crashing, get your bike back back on two wheels, then yourself back on two legs. Then assess your damages and fault.
