I just came back from Hugo Kant's live show in my city of Liege, Belgium. A 3 hours long crazy set and for a good cause (for an organization). Stumbled on Hugo Kant for the first time Yesterday. Listened to Out of Time twice, back-to-back without interruption or feeling the need to forward any track. I particularly like the background voice over of the "Spaceship Captain" 's voice from the beginning when He counts down to take off, at the middle where He says "..but there is no cause for alarm, we have developed Anti-gravity capabilities" and at the end where He says "I don't want to go back, I'm at the brink of a great discovery" Awesome, truly out of time experience 10/10

Mr. Hugo Kant, till today for whatever unknown reasons I was oblivious to your fascinating musical endeavours not knowing what I have been missing the whole time, thank you and thanks youtube algorithm!!!
This is not an album, much less a "trip". It is an expedition that goes way more deeper than our nature: The astral plane. The variety of sounds teleports my mind and body to different places at the same time. The drums makes me feel like i'm above absolutely everything and no one can´t stop me because i can´t even stop myself. This is not just an album, this is pure art.
Now imagine doing all that for real. And transferring your consciousness into another body and living there. Oh wait, was that TOO deep for ya? Yeah do that over and over from time to time and see how weird it gets, at one point you just stop and live with what is rolled to you through the cosmos.

Now this is more like it! What happened to those trip-hop producers, yo? Errbody doing house these days... So thankful people like Hugo are still in the game and full on it!
I hear that. Best I've heard in a while. The newer stuff (what they call trip-hop) seems to be aimed at those who like endless repetition with absolutely no real diversity. This, on the other hand, has EVERYTHING!! Excellent stuff.
Unreal album... Thanks for sharing, I didn't know this guy. This album is a masterpiece, from start to finish. Definitely going to buy all his albums & EP next month, cheers!
I'm 59 and right at home with this stuff. I hear many of the musical influences popular to the prog rock/experimental musical crowd of my youth. Jethro Tull (Ian Anderson), Beatles, Alan Parsons, and...well, I'll just quit. This stuff is really eclectic...like my tastes. Great stuff.
i already heard couple of songs from the album before but never had the chance to listen to all of them. i remember listening the whole album for the first time: i was high that night and i heard entering the black hole from a list. i immediately wanted to give a chance to the whole thing and that was it. i was mesmerised by the songs but particularly by the flow of the album as if each and every next song is a new chapter to a story. cheerful for a while then dark for other parts but for sure it's telling a story of its own. after finishing it, i immediately summoned my friend because it was not quite complete for me; i had an urge to share this experience. we sat together and listened to it just looking at the album cover and discussing on things like what he/she might be thinking at the loneliest moment anyone can experience. the cover also has its own mysteries like whether the rope is attached to a satellite and it will be pulling him/her when it reaches its max length or he/she is just flowing through nothingness…as the album progresses you get new opinions on that. after that we have brought one more friend and i listened to it for the third time on the same night. i know you think i was on a loop as i was high :) but this was totally a conscious action :) bottomline is that everyone can think of something else listening to it but it's without a doubt a great experience which will actively force you to 'live' it
4:41-the earth dance. The original song is from a bollywood movie "Raja Hindustani" and it means "Pardesi Pardesi Jana nahi mujhe chodke" "Stranger..stranger don't go leaving me".
Thank you very, very much for taking time to translate & inform. So many cuts are borrowed from both traditional and contemporary Indian and also Pakistani music and I always wonder what I am listening to...it can become almost like an unscratchable (no pun originally intended) itch in the brain.
I usually listen to metal... But sometimes like to hear to different stuff so I can get new ideas about composition and so on... This is a pretty good example of something different and awesome, to me.
If you liked this you'll likely enjoy the following albums: Safe up in the tall cliffs by Emancipator. Circuit Breaker by Tripswitch. Movements by Solar Fields. better late than never. i'm so glad that i find this one... a masterpiece!
Drifting through the void, one galaxy at a time... 🌌
3 seconds in : liked and added to favourites.
I added it to watch later just by seeing the miniature, then rapidly checked it to confirm, as you said 3 seconds in and I cant stop.
Now this is more like it! What happened to those trip-hop producers, yo? Errbody doing house these days... So thankful people like Hugo are still in the game and full on it!
Wax Tailor, DJ Krush, plenty still crushing it.
I hear that. Best I've heard in a while. The newer stuff (what they call trip-hop) seems to be aimed at those who like endless repetition with absolutely no real diversity. This, on the other hand, has EVERYTHING!! Excellent stuff.
j'écoute cet album une fois par mois minimum depuis un an et demi déjà. . . grand bien m'en fasse. longue vie à hugo kant et à cette chaîne.
Favourite track, all: can't choose just one this album speaks as a whole story. Masterpiece.
SAAAAAAME!!!!
Amazing album! Bought a copy on Bandcamp, Mr. Kant got a new fan.
The level of creativity is high, the inspiration is deep, masterpiece 🙏🌠😍
Ce type de musique... Je l'ai cherché pendant un moment, j'adore ! Continue de me faire rêver 😊
Sound mastering on this album is insane! Watching it on an oscilloscope is sooooo pretty!!!
this is usually not the kind of music I listen to, but damn this is perfect
it's like an adventure in music form
I'm blown away
Unreal album... Thanks for sharing, I didn't know this guy.
This album is a masterpiece, from start to finish.
Definitely going to buy all his albums & EP next month, cheers!
Hugo Kant, you are one of THE BEST of ALL TIME, i hope you have aaccepted that for you!
Indian Bollywood, classical, punjabi mix with psychedelic rock
This album is next level AMAZING ☮️
I'm 59 and right at home with this stuff. I hear many of the musical influences popular to the prog rock/experimental musical crowd of my youth. Jethro Tull (Ian Anderson), Beatles, Alan Parsons, and...well, I'll just quit. This stuff is really eclectic...like my tastes. Great stuff.
Très agréablement surpris de voir qu'il est français, on a quand même une super scene musicale en France!
Not to mention the french are the only ones putting in any real effort to make good cassette players.
@@sawderf741 which maker are you referring to? I have to admit I don't use cassette tape.
Bravo. Great price.... Great album..... with a lot of dreamy, beautyful songs...... Special.
i already heard couple of songs from the album before but never had the chance to listen to all of them. i remember listening the whole album for the first time: i was high that night and i heard entering the black hole from a list. i immediately wanted to give a chance to the whole thing and that was it. i was mesmerised by the songs but particularly by the flow of the album as if each and every next song is a new chapter to a story. cheerful for a while then dark for other parts but for sure it's telling a story of its own.
after finishing it, i immediately summoned my friend because it was not quite complete for me; i had an urge to share this experience. we sat together and listened to it just looking at the album cover and discussing on things like what he/she might be thinking at the loneliest moment anyone can experience. the cover also has its own mysteries like whether the rope is attached to a satellite and it will be pulling him/her when it reaches its max length or he/she is just flowing through nothingness…as the album progresses you get new opinions on that. after that we have brought one more friend and i listened to it for the third time on the same night. i know you think i was on a loop as i was high :) but this was totally a conscious action :)
bottomline is that everyone can think of something else listening to it but it's without a doubt a great experience which will actively force you to 'live' it
Hhingalabezi uHugo madoda. Never a miss. Truly inspiring how the style stays unique.
Hugo Kant, but at least Hugo Tried.
And now Hugo Kan :-)
And Hugo Will
and Hugo Love

Hugo....?
No, I insist, first Hugo....
This got recommended by RUclips. Glad it did!
4:41-the earth dance. The original song is from a bollywood movie "Raja Hindustani" and it means
"Pardesi Pardesi Jana nahi mujhe chodke"
"Stranger..stranger don't go leaving me".
Thank you very, very much for taking time to translate & inform. So many cuts are borrowed from both traditional and contemporary Indian and also Pakistani music and I always wonder what I am listening to...it can become almost like an unscratchable (no pun originally intended) itch in the brain.
lol i was shoked to listen it
"you stole my heart..you stole my heart"
Thank you!
for a sec i thought someone changed the track when the song came up. Puzzled af :P
What a trip! Thank you sir!
Respect from Portugal 🇵🇹
I usually listen to metal... But sometimes like to hear to different stuff so I can get new ideas about composition and so on... This is a pretty good example of something different and awesome, to me.
This is one of my go to tracks for late night listening when working alone.
I wish everyone on this comment section Infinite blessings, and beyond! ✌️❤️🌍
Can we just take a minute and appreciate this art work?? The image is complemented so perfectly by this amazing soundtrack...that damn!!!

@@ofishdolt1978 Cauchemere or košmar where i'm from ...is something similar to a nightmare.. like waking up after a nightmare and falling asleep again just to find yourself experiencing another unpleasant dream, feeling and sensation ...
the cauchemere after a long night of bad dreams ..recurring unnerving vague or even vivid memories ..often as a result of traumatic life events.Haunting dreams that won't let you get proper physical or mental rest when sleeping. as you'd likely feel stressed and not relaxed due to unpleasant sleep. I hope this explains it to you ..it's a word not used very often
@@crescentsun7620 I hear you, Brother / Sister ... it sounds like you and I are on similar journeys. May our paths cross positively at some point in the future. Until then, I wish you all the very best the universe can give you !!!

Supreme beings of Leisure... ( I found this
In a charity shop for £1... just one glance
at the cover artwork told me this would be
something I didn't know I was looking for).
Divine Operating System... The standout
track for me, is "Calamity Jane" an
unbelievably hypnotic bass line that never
deviates, from the beginning to the end..
it should be boring, but as a bass player,
I would just love to be playing that song...
twenty minutes wouldn't be enough!

Of various tracks... best songs for me,
are "stunning" and "Give it up" ( very

Into a small bedroom, and sound
Amazing!

Supreme Beings of Leisure are fantastic. I bought their stuff in the late nineties/early 2000's when I saw their CD in a store and thought it looked up my alley. That was back when you had to guess whether music was for you or not.
Its 2021. 20:38 in a early autumn night. The music flows while I'm looking through my window and the full Moon drops her light over the Jordan Valley and I saw her light reflecting over the Dead Sea and the wind brings to me the sounds and the smells of living beings that in theyr own universe, dont be able to understand the effect they produce in my soul.
