      Doctor you left out raw onions!
      Read an article that in the 1960s in Egypt from doctors discovered if the average man ate a whole raw onion a day after 3 weeks there would be a market increase in testosterone levels.
      I tried this and by 2 weeks in I felt like a teenager, I had unlimited energy, it felt like I could eat whatever I wanted and I was losing weight..... I felt invincible like when you're 17 LOL.

      Be warned that most docs don't know how to treat Low T and most will be like: "Your levels are 300, you're just fine! My lab test shows you are still in range!" (And the range ends at 290 or something silly.) 😆 Most Low T people know that symptoms + low end of the scale = Diagnosed Low T. The only way you will actually fall out of the lab range interval for Low T is if there is some cancer or something REALLY wrong with you. The trick is getting the right doc who will treat you, though.
      Make sure you take the Testosterone blood test in the morning, as this should be when your body is at the highest level of Testosterone.

    As a man with Low T, this episode hit home. I experienced all side effects of Low T you mentioned, prior to supplementation. My father had prostate cancer and also has Low T, but hasn't addressed his Low T yet. I am procrastinating doing my injections right now and watching this vid instead. 😆 (The constant needling is tolerable at this point. It still gives me some anxiety, but it mostly goes away after I get going injecting.) I inject every other day. Most docs would probably say that's extreme, but I'm splitting my dose and it's working for me. With Low T, I found it hard to talk about these issues with my doc. After treatment, I could really care less, I want to live a long healthy life. Interesting effect, hah.
    Thanks for talking about this, doc. 😀

    I took test booster very heavily when I was able to work out 2 times a day. Cycled it month-on, month-off, drank huge amounts of water, and slept when I could. Over time, I cant say it actually DID anything for performance or physique benefits, and in hindsight, I was waaayyy too young to be taking those supplements. To me, it was just a bunch of snake oil, except for the fact that I felt like my sex drive and irritability went haywire for a while. Test-Rx, Nugenix, Deer Antler extract, and others either did little, or nothing at all. Other than that, if you're lifting, it's probably better to just take creatine and protein. American association of urologists say anything under 300 is low my doctor said they won't treat until under 240. The 280 was taking a fist full of vitamins and eating a high protein diet and weights 3 times a week. Now I found a place online and self treating. The mental fog was going to get me fired at work.

      Most docs won't treat you unless you're in your 30s or older. Just know that going into it. You really don't know much until you've had a doc run a blood test though. (Or, you could just go to some online direct website and order a blood test done.) The hardest thing to do with Low T is to be persistent and not anxious or shy about fixing your Low T. It really can be non-optimal if you don't treat it early in life. Believe me when I say this, every 30 and 40 year old doing Testosterone Replacement wishes they knew about it and started at 19.

      Thanks, I may have to try that. I use Red Ginsing and a product called Virectin which is a multi herbal product, along with vitamins, zinc etc. I'm 72 and that works ok, but it only bumps my T number to 280. I have all the classic symptoms. The problem I have is I had prostate cancer 20 years ago and they removed the gland. My PSA is now always .01 and my urologist won't redo my prescription for Clomiphine Citrate which bumped my T number to 550 and I felt good for the 2 years I was on it for hypogonadism.

    Thank you for this video! I'm in my late 30s and currently on testosterone therapy. I use a topical gel because I have naturally low testosterone. I discovered in May 2020 that I have two small benign brain tumors in my pituitary gland but doesn't seem to be the cause my low testosterone levels according to my doctors. My PSA levels are also elevated and was told that my risk for prostate cancer are higher because of this. I'm exercising regularly and eating fairly good. I heard that Leg days are good for increasing testosterone levels, is that true? Are there studies where certain exercises increase testosterone levels?
    I'll make sure to add more zinc and potassium to my diet (I hate bananas!)

    Since you already discussed testosterone and asks about testosterone boosters. I would really want to watch a follow up in regards to macho man who used steroids or sarms and got their natural production of testosterone shut down or "suppressed". And an in-depth video about things just as you mentioned in this video testosterone therapy (or the so called PCT (Post Cycle Theraphy).
    I would definitely like to hear your opinions and ideas about it especially the risks they would encounter if one day, these people decide to have a family. Risks such as, what would be the effect on these to their offspring?

    I’m 38. I’m starting to worry about decreases in Testosterone production as I push 40. I hit the gym everyday and lead an active lifestyle. My sex drive is usually high and I have no problem with getting erections. I started taking Tongat Ali a few days ago as a way to help keep Test levels high. Me and my girl try to get down to business and I could not get an erection. I panicked because its never happened before and she was also concerned. I stopped taking the Tongat Ali supplement and things seem to be back to normal. I’m here scratching my head because isn’t Tongat ALi supposed to boost libido and testosterone??

    • @luckyg8971
      @luckyg8971 Год назад

      I took Tongkat ali for three or four months before starting testosterone replacement therapy. Tongkat did absolutely nothing to improve my libido. I noticed a little more energy on TA and lower body aches (common side effect). There might be some guys who saw true testosterone improvement from Tongkat ali but I didn't.

I have tried talking to many different doctors about this but I can't find any who will listen or even just check my levels. Every single doctor just was unwilling to check my levels and then changed the subject. Maybe it is illegal in Australia to do such checks. So frustrating.. :(

    • @85gbody97
      @85gbody97 3 года назад

      Personally not a doctor my daughter is a nurse practitioner an is very knowledgeable but its still not me but the research that we both done learning about this fear of heart issues is sorta irrational cause basically the thing that taking testosterone does that they worry about as far as heart issues are concerned is cause the bodies red blood cells to rise an is easily combatant with regularly donating blood this will lower your bodies red blood cells an if ya did this every 6 weeks you’ll keep that in check and would be helping to save lives. It really comes down to are ya willing to do all thats needed when taking a synthetic version of it. Also its a fact that the creams an gels the way they make it to be absorbed raises your DHT levels far more then a oil based inter-muscler shot an that alone has far more adverse affects on the heart. So long as taking a shot once every 3 days so your testosterone levels stay at a steady rate instead of one big dose a month or mild dose once a week causing peeks an drops that also don’t help matters much so if ya can handle twice a week shots an blood donation every 6 weeks you’d not only feel like ya was 20 again but you’ll avoid some if not all adverse side affects thing is we have this stigma in this country over testosterone we see it as men just are supposed to age an die an testosterone is cheating and it makes you go all crazy when where the only western country who regulates it like we do so doctors have this tendency to avoid ever wanting to prescribe or treat men. I mean the ranges for what’s normal is 250-1000ng/dl an let me tell you if your at 250 ng/dl an get your level to just 750 not only are you going to be wearing your wife/girlfriend out but you’ll wanna do all those things ya did while a teenager an have lot more energy. If ya wanna learn more about the subject theres this book called Testosterone for life written by some Harvard doctor an it not only explains many things in a way the masses can understand but he also goes into the cultural side of it on how MLB has shaped our views on it and professional bodybuilders who are abusing it from take 4 times the amounts to be able to build obscene amounts of muscle that ya could never do at natural levels so we do what we do best when we don’t understand we regulate an control its use cause we don’t like cheaters.

    Vit D levels...cortisol tests.....Cholesterol tests ...Estrogen tests also needs to carried out as they also effect T levels. Testosterone is produced at night so sleep and harmonious biological bodyclock with sun rise is very important as well. Sleep for good 7 hours every day.
