    I’ve watched your channel almost since day one and I’ve always found your abrasiveness hilarious. I’m arguably on the spectrum myself and my second oldest son has Asperger’s (confirmed) as well. I’m a single dad who raised all of my kids on South Park, who made an entire episode about Cartman thinking he had Asperger’s. Keep up the great work.

    Wow love the back story. Gives us so much more context about who you are.
    I thought you were abrasive for the few videos of yours I watched. After that it just adds to how funny you are. You have a great sense of humor & mostly because of your honesty. Keep it up!! We love it!

    Thanks for that video. I didn’t have the full picture on you and, as a result, was never sure how much credibility to assign to you, though I’ve always appreciated your content, opinions, personal angle, and candor. And yes, your monochromatic delivery early on might have given me some reason to wonder about you. This video really helps viewers to understand the breadth of your experience and creds, which are truly substantial! I had a fever to get into sailing a handful of years ago, but work and biking took priority. I still give thought to it and sail on friends’ boats, though I no longer have a dying urge to buy one. However, if time, money and opportunity permit someday, I know I’ll come to you for advice. Thanks, again. Keep up the great work. P.S.: You really did date our vintage when you talked about phones in the stone ages and reminded me how we used to “dial” a phone number! Feel the same way about putting myself on camera for RUclips.

    Your MO has always been calling out other channels, but it’s also what holds your channel back. As a word of encouragement, spread positivity instead of negativity and watch your channel blow up. You’re not wrong for what you say, you just say it the wrong way.
    Look, 95 - 99% of people watching all these channels, that are then recommended to your channel, will only ever dream of getting on the water and enjoy living vicariously through RUclips. It’s your show, and keep doing what you’re doing. Just giving you my $.02

That is why you what you are doing is important. 8 out of 10 people that do deliveries with you find out sailing is not for them... because they were duped into romanticizing it. I watched those channels, then yours came and grounded me. I think you should ramp up the business of taking people on deliveries instead of selling a dream on the Tube. Ahoy! Wow I didn’t know you just started your channel when I just started watching it during Covid. I remember too watching your live when a big storm hit and we were laughing at people at Florida’s southern most tip. I bought the tshirt lol. Good times.
    I don’t know if I know anyone per se with Asperger’s but I love your straightforwardness, name calling not so much but I get it. Fair winds!

    Bought a 1977 Hunter 30. NEVER SLEEP EBAY. 500 BUCKS BUT.. transom has about a 2 foot split on the right side. Now I’m looking at how to move this POS. Guess I’ll fix it and do some sailing lol

      😂 Bro I bought a '77 Cal 2-27 and kept it in the Bay for a year then brought it home to fit it for crossing and of course that caused a divorce so hang in there!❤

    Would you say Social Blade data is accurate???? I always wondered especially with the big channels. Great content btw ! Please don’t stop ripping on RUclipsrs, it’s comedy gold!

    • @ChasingLatitudes
      @ChasingLatitudes  Месяц назад

      It's quite a ways off as far as money made. For views and subs its fairly close

    • @graphicsequip7863
      @graphicsequip7863 Месяц назад +1

      @@ChasingLatitudes so the money made is understated I would assume?

    • @ChasingLatitudes
      @ChasingLatitudes  Месяц назад

      yes, money wise you can normally assume all things considered its about 1k per 100k views, so a channel with 1 million views a month assume they made ten k, minus taxes lets make that 6.5 k split that between a couple and boom you've made 3250.00 per month, per person, comes out to roughly 20 bucks an hour based on a 40 hour work week but sailing RUclips is not a 40 hour work week so financially this is why you see so many sponsors , patreon and so on
