The oud on this frag isn't that in your face kind of oud either like you get with some. It's very smooth with the Amber and Vanilla. May react differently on your skin than it does mine but for me it's 10/10. Highly recommended 👌 full bottle worthy!

Picked up l’artisan cuir grenat in Paris last year. Very linear, literally the only notes mentioned are leather, raspberry, and a molecule I can’t recall. Smells fantastic I get a lot of compliments. The fruit to leather ratio is different on each person.

After an in depth search I lean towards Black Saffron by Byredo. I will watch your video with great joy. It will help me decide as I have similar taste in perfumes, although a woman. Thanks! Still haven't tried Aquila Absolut, I'm very interested in it, also in Jusbox Black Powder. I find Ytzma similar to Godolphin but I like it more, in fact from the ones I know from the list Ytzma and Tuscan Leather are my favorites. Need Oud Maracujá! Thanks for the video Sebastian!!!
I enjoy layering a base of Cherry Punk EDP and then applying Cherry Punk Extrait on top after a short dry down. I like the way this boosts the cherry accord while bringing in the leather for longer wear. Cheers

If Gucci Intense Oud is considered a fruity chypre, then I might add it to this kind of a list (the formulation which I got has to macerate for a while, after being initially sprayed, in order to smell/perform its best, but I do like it). To this list, I might also add Creed Aventus (and certain Aventus-related fragrances) and maybe Rochas Femme.
I have decants of jadoube and blockade. They are both powerful fragrances and really well blended. This house backs the hype, unfortunately they are very expensive.

I really enjoy Cuir Grenat. The other day I layered Safanad and Golden Wood by The Harmonist over it and it was sublime! I tend to use my fruity leather scents as a layering base.
Michael for Men by Michael Kors qualifies in this genre, doesn't it? I think it has a suede note (soft leather) and fantastic plum and dried fruits in the base. And a bit of incense smokiness too. Great.

My favorite Leather is an underrated one: Absolute Aphrodisiac from Initi 😍 my god, a vanilla with an animalic leather. Gorgeous!
