A trick that you can do is when you mach run, grab and then move in the opposite direction to quick stop the Mach run

To do this:
Kill an enemy before going to the next room
Get the highest score
Get all Toppins
Get Gerome and go to the treasure room
Find all 3 Secrets
Last but not least: do NOT loose a combo. Not even a single drop
go to Lap 2
After doing all these steps:
Congratulations, you’ll get the highest rank, the P Rank
