- A dash camera captured three motorcycles going at dangerously high speeds on Highway 400 before one was involved in an accident.

My daughter’s former 25yo restaurant manager died racing his motorcycle this way this year. His mom used to bring him his lunch most days. I can’t imagine her grief.

30 day driving suspension only counts if he gets caught. Will not stop him from driving. Will not stop him from driving at dangerous speeds. Will have no impact on road safety at all. Pointless.

@@gailflorence2007 Police cars can only go so fast. people know this. If a motorcyclist wants to get away, they'll just ride faster. Too severe penalties will cause high speed chases. We have to be careful how tough the penalties are, we are dealing with risk-takers after all, they'll do the math before they pull over.

(Just like photo radar; the owner of the vehicle gets the ticket. Not the driver. Therefore no points on licence. Or suspension)

Stunt driving, whether on a motorcycle or a car should by a 6 or 12 month suspension.

In no way condoning irresponsible driving. Add poor driver training and licensing to list. Mandatory skid control courses. How to correct one. Use a simulator to test situational awareness. How to handle a wheel going into a gravel shoulder. Threshold braking. Cone of escape. Basic rules of driving physics. More. Simple things that would vastly improve safety.

that's because it costs anywhere between 1500-2500 euros to get your license. That's 2200-3600 Canadian dollars, and not to mention the extensive driving and safety courses you must take. While here in Canada at most its a 100-500 dollar process to get your car license.
What do you expect, when such a high volume of people from backwards parts of the world are given driver's licenses in Ontario? It's time to raise the testing standard, and increase fines and suspensions.
