Damn, man. He's clearly a college professor who's doing his job right.
Love it.
Some learning techniques I've learnt are Chunking, SQ3R- survey, question, read, recite and review (which the professor is talking about) and the Pomodoro technique (time management especially)...most commonly used
Which one is the most effective for you?
@@Jules-740 for me...The chunking method works fine 🙂
@@sibrajbehera4505 Thank you!👍

Textbooks should make important questions bold along with the help of visual charts.
awesome idea - priming.
To understand the book you have to take notes or highlight them, so when you remember you get blocked so when check the notes, it retains😎👍it's powerful 🤗🤗🤗❤️✌️🕊️💃🕺💃🕺💃🕺
A study came out saying that highlighting isn’t effective at all, it does really help understanding or memorizing anything, it’s just a waste of time
@@abdelrahmansinger8590 that's your perspective, I find it helpful 🙏
@@wise3164 perfect 👍
@@abdelrahmansinger8590 one study isnt enough to be definitive and we dont even know the parameters of this study to question it. i dont hightlight either though, I just dont think a single study can be defininitve. it can be prone to error in judgements or method and statistical data can be bent and played with until it fits your conclusion. Ive always been good at finding the important information quickly. never had to study for certain subjects. not math or science though lmao
@@abdelrahmansinger8590 highlighting helps mainly in 2 ways (no need of any study, common sense is enough to understand this):
1. Mark the key points to revise later, it minimises the need to read complete contents again, feels RELAXED the next time you revise
And relaxed mind promotes better UNDERSTANDING/PROCESSING the contents
2. Visuals are way more effective for MEMORISING than plain text (as they are associated with right brain)
So when you highlight using appropriate colors, then it adds a visual aspect to the plain text
SQ 3R
Servey ,Question , than you can also add Read, Resite , Review.

The first line on paragraph tells it all
